Use tangetial method V = S tan( angle 2) / ( tan thita 2 - tan thita 1) S = 3.26-1.09 = 2.17 V = 2.17 x tan ( 8° 36' )/ (tan 8° 36 - tan 5° 42 ) = 2.4036 RL of instrument axis = BM + V + h1= 85.658 + 2.4036 +1.092 89.1536m
