      No... Still u have to calculate RL of instrument axis. RL we measured from BM.

      Signs indicates above and below horizontal axis . And que is to find horizontal distance from A to B not BM to B

      For example 5°30° hai toh fir vo multiple by 2 karna padega...uska answer 11°0°0° aayega toh fir calc per Cos 11°0°0° k sath karna toh fir answer aayega 0.9816....aisa calculate karna hai cos ko...

      Left and right are just sides. Stand at instrument station then Ur left side consider left.

      RL is a vertical distance between a survey point and the datum surface.

    Agar b point ka banch mark diya ho or c point(joAbhi banch mark he) ka r.l. calculate karna ho to kese karenge.

      1) 1st find RL of instrument axis A= RL of B + h2 - v2
      2) RL of C (BM) = rl of inst axis A - h1 - v1

      First draw karo staff, tripod stand and angle given data se then formula uske according aa jayega.
      When line of sight horizontal
      D = (f/i)S + (f+d)
      For line of sight inclined, staff vertical
      D = (f/i) × S² cosθ + ( f+d)cosθ
      1) for +ve angle
      V = D tan θ
      RL of staff = RL of instrument axis + V - h
      2) for -ve angle
      RL of staff station = RL of instrument axis - V - h
