    I purchased the Icue H150i Elite and 10 of the QX120 fans as I was planning on replacing the fans on the H150i with the QX120 fans because wouldnt you know it, corsair does not sell the H150i Elite AIO with the Icue link fans. Then I found Lian Li sl-infinity fans. The lian li fans are a bit cheaper, they work off the same concept, and they make the SL-Infinity fans in a reverse blade which will look much better. So i returned my 900 bucks worth of fans and AIO back to corsair. The problem Im having now is that I cant seem to find the SL-infinity reverse blade fans. There are a few retailers selling them but they are seriously scalping the prices and seeling them for nearly 60 bucks each. So im still on the look out for the reverse fans at the regular price. I know some might say thats a lot of money for fans, but my PC case is the centerpiece of the my office. I want it to look as good as possible.

    The fans being pre-mounted only helps if you're going to install this in the top of the case, since you'll have to remove them to install it as intake in the front of the case. Since most cases don't support 360MM up top, it'd probably be best for Corsair to NOT install the fans.

    Those cables at the beginning are a bit of a mess since they havent been braided.

  • @elviscera4661
    @elviscera4661 Год назад

    This kit is aesthetically interesting and it did help the cable mess somewhat but IMO, not to a degree commensurate with the cost. I would have welcomed a thermal performance analysis since that after all, is what fans/AIO are primarily about. Likewise, a performance test of the rather costly DDR would have been welcome too. My solution to the RGB cable mess is to not have any RGB at all except that installed on the main board. That leaves me able to spend my limited disposable income on things that affect performance (like a better pump top) or on useful peripherals like VR (which is in the price range of this kit), or on support channels via Patreon membership.

  • @Belznis

    Small sag on the GPU, damn the RTX is one large card. While the white build would be something I would not choose due to the color, looks so nice that I had second thoughts and with the RGB options I would maybe even have bought a system like that back when I was assembling my PC. I like the fan system and that iCUE software, because of this I think Corsair became more interesting to me, although you get to pay a bit more for the brand. A great motherboard choice, overall a good looking system.

  • @jasperirving007
    @jasperirving007 Год назад +1

    the system does not work this way, I installed it and the radiator fans do not turn on, which forces you to have to separate the fans in a connector and the pump alone, the documentation is poor or nonexistent, I do not recommend it.

    • @KitGuruTech
      @KitGuruTech  Год назад

      Clearly I cannot tell what problem you have faced but I show the fans working in the video, along with a bunch of other detail.
      Leo

    • @jasperirving007
      @jasperirving007 Год назад

      @@KitGuruTech we are clear that they turn on, even with connecting them to the PSU directly, the issue is that they last over time against different scenarios that is where they fail, you do not tell much about how to connect them, in fact the fans you connect them in the wrong port at the beginning in the h150i, I think you just want to convince, corsair as usual does not talk about requirements and the pcie port does not give enough power hopefully only the h150i, it is a bad buy, missing a lot, the pcie ports are lacking, should use the 3 pin ports of the peripherals but more than one, etc. . .. it is expensive and in beta phase

    • @KitGuruTech
      @KitGuruTech  Год назад

      @@jasperirving007 You seem to have a number of problems but I am not clear what has gone wrong for you. You say I connected the fans incorrectly but as far as I recall I showed the entire process from beginning to end. When you say 'pcie port' I assume you mean the iCUE Link ports and can only say they gave me no problems at all.

I mean, really, white hardware is incredibly popular these days, why would you limit that to only 1/2 or less of your audience?
