I would like to take this time to thank the cameraman for having the wherewithal to film this greatness some 25 years ago
Right? And the soundman? They killed it. Such a treasure.
❤
FuKn a man...class 95-96
Yesss ❤️
Is anyone else just over the moon with excitement when Layne is strapped wirh a guitar??
The DVD of the show at the Moore is worth the time to see
A breathe of fresh air that’s what this band was. AIC always was so innovated all the way til the 95 album. But this group took it up a notch. 90-96 had some of the best rock in my opinion. Very underrated time for rock music. Most likely because rock was about to die a few years later. 😢
First time hearing this song and watching video. Crazy good. A few here said they weren't impressed. I truly believe that if this band is at its worse....I cant think of any other artist competing with this when they are at they're best...🌠 they rocked the house down with out a doubt. Would have loved to been there...😥😥❤❤
Drummer is killing it
cowboixxxl totally agree!!!
Barret Martin owns a jazz funk latin band now. He is a monster
Poor rare strat...McCready is a fookin' beast! 🔥🎸 That was great night👌✌
One of the best jams ever. Saw a lot of great bands in my time but this is one I hate I missed. Absolute beast of a band
Best instrumental E V E R
Mike walking around like a mad(season)man. What a killer player, his guitar just died!
Listening to that masterpiece. Moreover, on new year's eve. Lucky crowd...
Monster performance
I'd give my left tit to go back in time and witness this...
This is absolutely fantastic, no fucin killer!!!!!!!!!
Damn Mike killed it that night!!! I had JUST moved to Seattle weeks before this. I wish I had know about it then. Great find!
Madness of the right kind at the perfect time
I LOVE MAD SEASON!!! 😊💓🤘✌️🔥Thank You for sharing this awesome video!! Mike Freakin McCready 🎸💓🔥 love Layne Staley miss him dearly. Barrett Martin 🥁 what a freakin awesome drummer and the bass John Baker Saunders sounds awesome!! 😊
Well there’s something you don’t see everyday. A left-handed Strat re-strung right!
I will say it again. Mike your a badass guitarist .
How can a band be so effortlessly good?
Or on the contrary, how can a guy or on a very brink with in such a magnificient fashion?
❤️
jimi henrix experience also seemed effortless too but it was probably a lot of effort
Simply Amazing
beast mr. mike. forever beast...
EPIC
Perfecto!!!
Estou adorando essas novas postagens. É sempre muito bom ouví-los!!
Layne es el mejorrrr!!!! 🤘🤘
Claro que sí!!!
Que padre!

NY city, where magic things happen.

En Chile 🇨🇱 diriamos: "la mansa volaita" de manera coloquial, algo asi como "Tremendo viaje 🍄🍄🍄 " SEÑORES!!!
Barrett ruling!
fucking sweet🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 THANK YOI🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
This is The Truth
10:32 Mark hits the guitar on the cab and a piece flies off and hits his tech in the face!!
Yea, the poor soul was "roadie" Bill. Poor dude got split from above his right eye, zig zagged down across the bridge of his nose, and into the left corner of his mouth, giving him a bad "Joker" scar on the left side of his mouth. It's said he confronted Mike about it, so Mike apologetically gave him a signed '59 Strat that he had in his collection, and Bill accepted the pay off. It's said that Bill has been jamming with that very Strat since, and is a guitar master by now. Only problem is, he got sued by the Mad Season execs because he made a song called November Motel, and its just a big rip off of November Hotel.
Jesus christ !!! Beast Much on Guitar only if the garbage music had that much heart and soul fuck I miss the 90s I go back in a heartbeat.
Sonzeira da porra!!
an 11 minute instrumental with layne as your singer was an inspired choice, no one tries stuff like that anymore
I have always heard that the lead guitarist was pearl jam's guitarist can someone enlighten me about this?
the lead guitarist is Mike McCready, he was Pearl Jam's guitar savant for almost 25 years, so yes, that is true

C'era una volta i Pink Floyd e i Led Zeppelin poi arrivò il Grunge💪
Destroying a Fender Stratocaster - anyway WHO does it - whilst underpaid, guitar loving teenagers all around the world have to witness remains a condemnable act of inhumanity. Believe me, I have been through this. Several times. Love you Pete, Jimi, Richie, Kurt, Mike...
Hendrik on guiter🙂
this isnt the rkcndy venue - pretty sure this is the moore, but for sure not rkcndy.
Without Layne there ?!?
Not sure it’s possible to do any better at anything in life…
To much fails in sound's sistem :(
Too much fails in phonics
Maybe some Hendrix influence? McCready's playing a left handed olympic white strat upside down... Hendrix played an olympic white right handed strat upside down!
maybe its the kurt's white strato
He is very much influenced by Jimi
@@chandrashekhermishra5847 Yeah I think so
Heroin is great! Frusciantes solo bestbatuff ever- I never did it but man dip some dudes in it and wow-
um
Sometimes my friends ask me, if I could go back in time to attend ANY concert, which one would it be? A Mad Season concert is my answer! They only did six concerts total from what I understand, and stretched the boundaries of grunge as far as possible. They may not be my favorite band per se, but for the short time they existed, the music they generated goes unparalleled. JMO.
Yep, six shows, one appearance on Self-Pollution Radio, and the tribute-kinda-thingy at Benaroya Hall with Mike, Barrett, & Chris Cornell.
Same! 100%
They KICKED ASS on this song!
Total talent all the way
Layne looks like he was enjoying himself and having a good time. I wish he could’ve gotten a grip on his demons and addictions so he’d still be with us
I miss you Layne ❤️
An artist with their demons under control ain't making much art tho huh? sad deal.
@@bdf2660 That's not true at all. Look at John Frusciante, man got sober after what could have been a dead end heroin addiction and after that he made Stadium Arcadium with the RHCP... I wish Layne would have had his own Stadium Arcadium...
@@agustincastano5399 Sorry, don't know so that is
@@bdf2660 red hot chili peppers, john frusciante is the guitarist
@@bdf2660hes one of the best if mot the best guitarist (at least out of the popular guitarists) of the 90s. He was insanely deep into his heroin addiction. He was in worse health than a lot opioid addicts youd see on the street of any city. Watch the 1994 interview with him, look up pictures of his arms, look up the video of him lancing the many abscess he had from improper injection technique, and youll see just how bad it wes. Hes insanely lucky to have made it out of that alive. Interestingly, John and another person i dont remember even visited Layne towards the end of his life, to try to convince him to get sober, and iirc he said that Layne was too far gone, which really means something once youve seen what John went through.
1st comment ✌lol
This song tho 💕💕 love seeing Layne play guitar 🔥🔥💯 RiP Layne Staley 💔 missed but not forgotten...
Hats off to Barrett Martin, an absolute monster on this track!
Erin Faulkner he is a badass. This whole band was great
Philip Reed Wallace 100% agree!
Total awesomeness.
Exactly

The tempo of that drummer is amazing!
He is amazing drummer
And the sickest, xylophone, sax,guy....what a band
That's Skerik....Still killing it out there.
Ya he’s excellent, all of ‘em are!
Barrett Martin >> great technique + great sound on Tama. Impressive
The energy and vibes from this take one to the next level and plane….thank you…🕷❤️❤️🔥🤘🏻
wow I love these guys
This was fucking epic!!!
Sounds guitar's so amazing
Barrett /Bonham ❤️❤️
I love Mike on lead hes a savage, highly underated guitarist
Baterista bom da poha
Only legends have reached here...!
Isn't he the baddest? Rather him than jerry cantrell
Layne had always been the fearless innovator, while Jerry was the grounded songwriter. . . and that's why duo work so well together. Love it when Layne disses the record companies in X-ray Minds. 'Buy and trade men's soul' . . . 'Sell the dead ones quicker.'
These guys drawn by Stanley Total ness
They would not have done etc❤
Cool..instrument...
