If it hasn't been mentioned yet, the song that Lindsey sings in this episode "LA Song" was actually written by Christian Kane himself.
It was actually written by showrunner David Greenwalt though Christian Kane is singer/songwriter in his own right with a couple of albums out under the band name "Kane" and a solo self titled album
"Stop gesticulating with the gun" is a pretty good idea, actually. As for the parts of Angel you've seen before - I think you'll quite enjoy the rewatch. Maybe some of the surprise will be missing, but the meaning will be twice as deep, what with the background and the knowing what's coming. The only thing missing will be the confusion, and I think I can live with that. Looking forward, Miss Dominique.
Christian Kane and David Boreanaz are actually good friends in real life.
They were also good friends with the late Glenn Quinn (Doyle).

To me; because of how Lorne handled the college student almost ending the world and running to Angel, it indicates that Lorne would interfere with anything truly evil/bad. He doesn't go to Angel because he knows that Angel is meant to stop it. He just goes to him because it's the only hero he knows and wants to stop it. Other than that, i think he just serves destiny. He may give someone an address/location of a victim (which honestly feels unlikely), but that doesn't mean that just because the outcome looks bad doesn't mean it will be, say the "murder" gets arrested that night when following the victim that Lorne sent him after.
Lorne isn't friends with bad guys. He's neutral ground because he's a conduit to keep people on their path. If it's meant to be for him to stop things, he'll stop things, but if it's meant to happen he lets it happen.
I liked seeing Angel and Lindsey being forced to work together as the anti-buddy cop duo.

I always thought Dead End was a kind of homage to the brilliant 1978 Michael Crichton film Coma (if you have never seen it, go watch it, it is brilliant), where the organs are being harvested. Highlight of course is Lindsay's performance in The Club. Great to see the Dynamic of Angel and Lindsay teaming up to discover the truth of the organ harvesting. Super scene from Lindsay as well in the boardroom with the 'Evil Hand'. A great ending too with Angel and Lindsay at the end 'Cops Suck' sign on truck. All in all a great episode from S2.

Given that Lexi loves Christian Kane - has she seen him in "Leverage" or "The Librarians"? Both series are fun in my opinion, though not on the same level of awesome as the Buffyverse...
Regarding the actress who played Kate: "While appearing in Angel, Röhm also had a regular role in the only season (2000-2001) of the Turner Network Television drama series Bull." So she was working in two different shows, apparently moreso in Bull compared to Angel. Then she moved on to be a main character in "Law & Order"...
Wolfram & Hart don't fire people - they terminate them. Unless they decide to harvest them for parts...

Lindsay singing is great, but on rewatches I'm not too sad to see the character go.

Well, there’s different kinds of dead. There’s partying with your friends dead vs. getting swept up by the janitor dead. Harmony is very much the first kind which has many qualities not completely unlike alive.
