I watched this episode and once the pay out came through I thought wow that is more than I make at a “ regular “ job. I make about 90 dollars a day before taxes. That is an 8 hour day tied to a boss and a desk for those hours. Gee for those out there that say get a regular job; I would have to say “why?” This pays better and you are outside enjoying the weather and not answering to anybody but yourself. If there was a recycling place here I would totally be ready to do this full time. I would definitely be the richer for it.
It's fun, it's worthy, and somewhat social
I agree with you, I wish I a small truck and I would be doing this to. But I think here in California U would have to do taxes and that would take some of the enjoyment out of it. I so enjoy these videos !
@@heartscreations yes but even with taxes I would make more than my current job. Taxes can be handled by good accounting software. Think of all the write offs. Lol. At any rate the ney sayers should really look at this from Paul’ s point of view. This gives him a bit more income, exercise and it really is as much as he can handle when he can handle it. I like this business he has going. It suits him and he enjoys it. What else is there? God is good.
@@juliegingras6459 I know what your saying, When I was a kid I would collect news papers for my dad and we would go to the recycle place. It made me feel great as a kid to help my dad. I have always love to go trash hunting! still do today. Am living in a apt and people are always throwing away good things. some I sell for extra income. I pray you go out there and find some great stuff and you can bring in a great income to leave your job and do what is fun! God Bless
Take the chairs to the lake and see if you can't sell them there.
So good to see Rick again. I miss you and him scrapping together.
I've been praying that Rick would just show up one day and today was the day God chose to let it happen. You prayed for help and God answered before you prayed. Was good seeing Rick again. Hope all is well in his world, was good to see him! Will continue to pray for big Shane and his family as well as yours Paul.
I feel exactly the same way Lorry .I pray for you all and God Bless. May God Bless you also Lorry!🙏🏻🥰🦋😇
That is so weird, when you couldn’t reach that stuff in the dumpster, I thought whatever happened to your bud non-ferrous Rick? And there he was! Excellent haul. Fun to watch. Thank you.
He and I went back to that dumpster and got all the gutters. 30 more dollars
Was really nice to see Rick again.
Love ur videos.
@@ScrapPalletMan that is wonderful
That old wheelbarrow is perfect for a restoration project. There are people on youtube with mad skills, who can make something like that look like new. Well, OLD new, if you know what I mean. If you got a guy like that in the neighborhood, it's an easy $15.
As the saying goes…one man’s trash is another man’s treasure! I never thought I’d be watching a guy pick up scrap metal but watching your videos is somewhat therapeutic! Lol
Good morning Paul 🙋🏽. It's nice to see you today. Have a awesome amazing beautiful day ‼️👍🏽. WOW it was really good to see Rick again ‼️ it's weird because when you were at the dumpster getting the aluminum, I WAS saying to myself, IT could really use Rick right now ‼️.😃.
Red sky in the morning sailors warning ,red sky at night sailors delight. " Just in case your viewers did not know the original version. God bless you I enjoy the daily ride along with you .
That’s so beautiful Paul, perfect to be silent for just a few minutes. God bless
It's so nice your new Bike is the same color as your truck. Not sure how you worked that but glad you did!
Great haul, and great seeing you team up with Rick again! I had tears in my eyes watching you two work together.
I have been watching your video's an I enjoy the tranquility moments an your praising God . Thank you for sharing
Hey Paul! It's good to see Rick! Been wondering about him and if he's doing well.
That was really cool of the construction guys giving you all that aluminum. God bless you and Rick. Hope you have a great week!
Hey Dallas good to hear from you
Works out for both Paul and them. Paul gives them more room for other waste product, while cleaning up the grounds scattered with metal. Helping each other out is the best form of scrapping.
Somebody in that neighborhood has an awesome sense of Halloween humor. The red balloon in the gutter, strait out of IT.
😃
PAUL & RICK. Together again. Oh, how I missed Rick. You guys were always a great team. Hope we see him regularly again. Great great video Paul. God bless. Elaine from Florida 😎🌴👍
Thanks for sharing, I have my 13 month old granddaughter today. She watched your video for a bit.lol don't send those geese here we have enough if them 😂 glad you were able to get that scrap. Have a great day 🎉🇨🇦
Even being recycled, I cry to see good bicycles not being recycled to other kids, so I'm so glad you keep some. You can't keep them all, but glad you keep some from being scrapped anyways
Paul when I worked with my Dad (miss you Dad) when I was younger we called aluminum, "Luni" and we loved the scores like you got today. Love it! We used to load it quickly like you did just in case someone changed their mind 😅😂😄
Those two bikes get a second chance at life...Smart choice!!
Glad to see that you & Rick are still friends. Was wondering what he was doing. Unfortunately, the payout isn't the same, every time. Glad scrap prices are good
ThAnk you, Mr. Paul for taking me along with you. Excellent video. Prayers Love and Peace
When you climbed up onto that big dumpster I was thinking “ what you need is a Rick “ and lo and behold up he pops. 😊
Yay, I was only saying to you about Rick in a previous video, so nice to see him again. 👍🏼
I was thinking that since you pick up bicycles a lot, put a rack on the front of the truck to carry them. Wouldn’t have to be too fancy, just two vertical angles with two forward projecting arms. Slide the bikes on and bungee them in place. 🚲
I thought of that, too...
When Paul was walking around the front of the truck with one of the bikes; I thought, "Oh, he got a bike rack on the front!" But, he didn't... At least - not yet. 😊
What about 2 of the same type of bike hooks on the outside of the truck bed frame & it would same tons of room in the bed.
I have a priest friend, Father Keith, who says that geese fly in a v formation to cut down on wind drag. Also the leader flies so far and then goes to the back, the next goose in line takes up first place and so forth so the lead goose doesn't get so tired because of the wind drag on it. The reason the geese honk so much is because they are cheering on the leader.
Just loves ur peaceful, giving thanks job..I just love seeing stuff go to good use...America we we waist so much good stuff....Ur so nice and thank u for not the cussing.. just clean and peaceful. 😀👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾💯💯🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖
Thank you Jesus for another video from Paul! You got a good haul, and the aluminum was a bonus! My brain got stuck on the line from the poem, "when the frost is on the pumpkin", but I changed it to "when the frost is on Clifford". Thanks again for all your hard work and for bringing us along!
I’m so glad your buddy Rick helped you today good seeing him again what’s up
Still chuckling over your paint aversion, knowing your background! LOL
Oh man, I would love that old wheelbarrow. Front garden, full of pig face plants, beautiful.
Hi Paul! I love this hour long video, yeah! I was so happy to see Rick, I miss the old videos with him, you guys had fun times! Thanks for your hard work for our entertainment, God's blessings on you! 👍❤
It was fun. Rick and I went back and got all the aluminum out of that dumpster. I didn't film it though
I was thinking of Rick when you were at that dumpster and there he was at the scrapyard. So good to see him.
Good score with the aluminum…nice to see Rick again it’s been so long..have a Great Day.
😃👍
Good morning Paul !!!! Stay blessed, Jesus loves you and so do I. We are all brothers in Christ.
A great day of scrapping .. good to see Rick on board again ,been a while...
Anyone else w/o seeing what micheal said that ended up on the cutting room floor? Also good to see old buddy rick still kicking around
Also paul you were in the coast guard? Amazing and thank you for your service
Nice to see Rick I was thinking about him the other day wondering where he’s been.
23:40 the ikea things are in the middle of a bed. It's the middle frame that connects the front and end to each other.
I was yelling when you were in the dumpster, “PAUL, GET YOUR GRABBER TOOL” guess you couldn’t hear me. 🤣🤣
Also, you’re not going to tell us what Michael asked…Dude, inquiring minds what to know!! 🤣😂 oh boy am I sarcastic today! Hahahaha!
I thought I heard someone yelling. Was that you :-)
@@ScrapPalletMan 🤣🤣🤣
Hey Paul on ur brass taps from water heaters cut them in half length ways with ur grinder
You are looking well and so is rick it is nice to see him again god bless you keep up the good work.
What a bike for your self Paul , here in the UK we have all sorts of scrap men but the main ones have like a speaker and you here scrap iron any old scrap iron any washers or cookeror gas fires and it's like a race to get your scrap out but other then that they don't take fridges, I've got a brother is name is Paul good look mate ps I like your videos 👍👍
I prayed you find someone to help you.... And vuala Super Rick to the rescue....
Those green bars would be great for a small garden fence. I would have took the flowers....
Scrap&Pallet Man. It was nice seeing Rick again.
Goodnight Paul,
You are gathering early again, a quiet start to the day.
Rather no paint in the truck, but aluminum
Great haul. Love the wheelbarrow just the way it is. I'd use one of those products so the rust wouldn't continue to destroy it definitely leaving the patina the way it is! So awesome just like the ones I grew up with( heavy that was no excuse LOL.) I'm so happy found someone to help so you could get all that aluminum out of the bin. God is so good! I'm liking the "positive" about the obstacles throughout your day, really does come across in video. 🙏🏼❤👍😎
Awesome day Paul! Thank you Jesus. I pray you continue blessing Paul and his family. AMEN 🙏🙂
😂 _Mining the Neighbourhood_ and a Good morning, Paul, from Aussie...
Good to see Rick healthy and well
🙏 - i have a friend who i had a bit of a tiff with.
We avoided eachother for a few years - and then felt the love again like nothing ever happened.
Just two stubborn oversensitives 😉☺
I so relate
I moved to The south 40 years ago. I soooo miss the beautiful foliage.
There's beautiful foliage in the South as well.
Very good u have a video today Paul. Very interesting seeing what you find out there in your runs. Hopefully only holy scrap days ahead for u. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Keep scraping. Keep recycling. Keep picking. Keep making. God bless.
Hello there Rick. It was nice of you to help Paul. Blessings to you both.
Those cracks in that road are a work of art.
Yeah never seen anything like that before.
Hey Paul, at 27:30 your cymbals are snow plow feet to keep the plow from scrapping the pavement. The washers adjust how high it rides off the pavement. Keep on making quality videos..
As soon as I seen them I knew exactly what they were, just put mine on last weekend.
Grab one of those flower pots and plant some garlic. You will have a great crop to harvest next May. Very easy. I love clouds that look like waves in the ocean.
Awesome trash day . Great score with the aluminium . Funny thing when you couldn't get the stuff out of the dumpster I thought of Rick right away and that I had not seen him in a long time and who should appear . That is awesome. Good to see him . Keep Safe ❤Keep Well ❤
Hi Paul. I enjoyed the nice simple prayer at the end.
How are book sales?
I've been watching for you. See what you have done to us . Everybody wants to see Scrap and Pallett Man ! Your the best ! God bless you Paul
Agreed...amen
I think the end the bars on the trampoline may be brass
It is so good to see Rick again.
Awesome a new scrap and pallet man adventure it was nice seeing Rick make an appearance hope all is well with you and your family 🙏
Hey hey Kevin
Hey Paul...njoy yr videos! 😊 u need a portable power station....recommend jackery or blue etti..under $200..they're awesome! That way way u can check ur electronic items on the rd.
You should carry around some wet wipes for when something like the paint happens again😊😵
Good to see you, good finds. I found a new yard today, they pay better than the other one. The first one only pays .6 cents a pound, the new one pays .9 cents a pound for shred. Not what you are getting but better. Not bad money for something that would go to the landfill and not make anyone money.
Glad you found a better paying yard
I think that it is wonderful to recycle everything that you can. I believe in it ones man trash is another man's treasure. Bless youfor what you do. Get yourself athree step ladder and a grabbingrod with a hook just like what the people use for collecting aluminum cans. I admire how you are also a Christian. Bless bless bless. Jaymie Arizona thank
We had our first frost here in the UK this morning I love frosty mornings
Love your ending prayers ❤️💕 everything else is great too ,but sometimes I'll skip to the end for the prayers then watch your post😇🙏
Oh yeah!! Why not wait with ya... This is awesome 👍😎 to watch.
Getting a real work out on this video ! Rick just working quick and you keeping up. That wheel barrow is the bomb for redoing and sell!
$102 bucks wow that’s a great deal be safe brother and GOD BLESS
When my boys were small we had a trampoline with the same type of frame. Heavy dude! Passed it on to the little boys next door.
Good thing you went down that street that's a nice load aluminum them guys are cool. And giving it to you
I'm with you Paul, I trash the microwave glass too. I don't got time to clean it up then pack it well for shipping. I also toss the ceiling fan glass. If I did yard sales/flea markets I'd probably keep them for that but usually don't have time for that.
Great to see non-ferrous Rick again!
Hi Rick nice to see you again🙏🙏♥️♥️♥️
Great to see you this morning, your always fun to watch
Yes, those lawn chairs are sought after! They are keepers
So good to see you two. And thank you for letting us come with you Paul
like someone else mentioned, those "boat anchors" looked like snowplow shoes that keep the plow from digging into soft dirt early in snowplow season--like right now. Great video Paul. God bless!
Yes snowplow feet. Thanks
Snap tool on strike? 😁. That old wheel barrow is a keeper. That’s lawn art.
I'm so grateful for you I always keep you in my prayers your videos really helped me thru ruff times
You are amazing, I was just reading through comments of one of my four-year-old videos. You have been encouraging me for years. Thank you.
@@ScrapPalletMan you welcome Paul! Only if you knew how you have helped me mentally! God bless you!
You are right about the folding vintage lawn chairs, they are worth quite a bit of money now. I just saw one priced at $169.99!
The older lawn chairs are worth good money in good condition
Gotta love getting whistled down for some free scrap. Great haul. Happy Hunting.
One of the best things
WOW! Thanks for the scrap adventure, God really is good! Keep up the awesome work Paul!!👍
Scrap & oh snap it's Rick man
Stay scrappy Palletman 😁
😃
The bins are a no go, I miss the old unloading at the pile
Wonder why they went to bins?
@@cheeseburger9232 My theory: piles too high and concerned that a scrap slide could be dangerous
@@cheeseburger9232 I think It is to see who is trying to pull the wool over their eyes. In words who is putting to much plastic in the piles.
Hi Paul!!! At the second stop, in the can, was a blue heated pet watering bowl, it will have a cord about thirty inches long. Also where you picked the alm. cabinet, I think there was more parts in the trash can.?
That was a blessing for those housebuilders to help you with that aluminum
Great video. Nice to see Rick again..
Good to see Rick. Stay awesome and God bless
Just a thought for you to ponder!! At the box store's they sell these tubes that are used for making concrete columns, They are made of heavy cardboard and would be waterproof with a coat of
exterior paint. Any way you could mount one in the front corner of the bed to handle all your handles without having to snap right away.
Good to see Rick again. He reminds me a lot of Warren Zevon 🙂
Hope you two had a good Halloween and good candy. Nice to see Rick. God go with both of you.
Not sure if it’s already been mentioned but the Ikea aluminium strips are the centre support for a bed. The wooden slats are rested on them to form the bed base, love watching your videos over here in England.
Your shows are so fun! I watch them a second or third time and wish I could give the thumbs up every time. Thank you for such the very interesting and uplifting channel. You are an amazing man. Thank you, sir. Pat
🙂
We've been seeing your friend for a long time, he's looking good.
Sure was glad to see a new video. For your sake I am glad you took a break but like man others I was going into Paul withdrawal. Just glad you are ok. We use to live in Huntley, Il. When I watch I am reminded of all the houses looking so familiar. Take care.
Awww 💚 You said Paul withdrawal. :-)
Hello Rick. Those guys really loaded you up. Nice paycheck today too.
Congratulations on you and Rick doing this together
I needed some scrap and pallet man today
🙂
