I have spectre 9, very high back pressure compared to osprey, omega, and octane. I'm testing 16lb recoil spring to help with gas. Works with nato ammo, still need to try with subs
Shouldn't need a booster for the beretta since they are not browning style camming barrels. I don't own one but from what I understand it is ill advised cause the booster is jack hammering it's self in a straight line.
@3:20 watch the ejection location. 1-2 o'clock at best = over gassed. Ideally ejection is at 3 o'clock. I would recommend an adjustable gas block and a different buffer weight. Also, CGS sells a ported front end cap for this can. Significant gas blow back reduction with minimal increase in sound. Might be worth checking out. It's only a hundred bucks and you don't need to touch the gun.
I run one on an 11.3” with a polonium k. it does excellent to correct overgas. but I did notice my cam pin is wearing the edge of the clearance pocket on the inside of my upper receiver after a few hundred rounds. It did this on both this upper and my 300blackout. I think that a black river tactical gas tube is likely a better solution than the bootleg because the bootleg bolt’s gas venting will still make your gun dirty
Nice video brother. Really interested in the spectra 9 not much out there on them yet. I was just looking up info was that can a flow design ? I initially was looking at the Omega9 k and Bauer p 9 mm cans no I’m undecided. It probably dedicated to a subgun Or occasionally on a pistol I’m new also to suppressing so all information I can get will aid in decision.
You can always call Capitol Armory and talk to someone there. It’s great being able to go in as they have all of the suppressors in a case that you can see, hold etc. they’re very knowledgeable and can help you decide. I went with the Spectre because it was so much smaller of a profile and much lighter as well than the Omega9k which was originally my first option.
@@kimchicowboy5053 my lgs has some suppressors in stock I might try them to see what he has. Definitely will call capital to see what they suggest after a talk with them to see what they say. Thanks again
Funny enough certifying it today! Last 3 cans have been 2-3 days to clear hoping for the same! Also, turns out there is cross compatibility with the rugged obsidian mounts thankfully.
Great video. Subbed! If you like your rifle, I would suggest looking at Riflespeed AGB's. They have enough granular adjustment to allow you to tune the rifle to the can and even the specific round that you feed it. If you want to get a dedicated rifle for suppressed use, take a look at Primary Weapons Systems. You would be going from DI to a long stroke piston system but my PWS runs clean and is definitely less gassy than my DI AR. Only downsides are price and weight since they are a little heavier than their Direct Impingement brothers. Unless you're using a flow through design, it's gonna be gassy but tuning does help. Congrats on the quick turnaround on your form 4!
9mm cans are pointless for pistols, unless it’s just for fun and to impress people. However, they are awesome for PCC’s. MP5’s with this can will be amazing.
Be careful shooting even with suppressed, maybe if you had subsonic ammo, you could be fine, but standard super-sonic is a little dangerous to your hearing, I am sure for the short time you did it, you were fine. Solid video!
@@kimchicowboy5053 ANR Design has a RUclips video comparing the normal front cap vs the vented front cap. I personally haven’t used it but I can’t imagine it’s noticeably much louder if you’re wearing ear pro anyway and shooting mostly outside.

Spectre 9 for a 2 stamp PCC is my ideal setup. If only it could be ordered for a discount without the booster.
