Put a bandana or your signal square in your scrim scarf fold and roll thaf into your hood and secure as shown.
Makes a huge difference to the comfort in wind and in warmer climates, drench it for cooling.🤘

Well done. Wery well done. I've just bought my first smock (I'm more than 40 years old) and I was thinking that this houdge hood will be dancing like a fooll into the wilderness 😄 I was always askeing my self "How that Bloody Brits are dealing with it so it's nice and tide?".

Hi there, just received my smock from a surplus store. I’ve never seen a field jacket/smock with a wired hood like this. What is the purpose of the wire? I’d like to know how to use it properly as it’s obviously there for a reason. I’ve been having a hard time finding info on this online. Any tips help.

The corner bits with the wire how can I tuck them in neatly as when I do it it looks a mess at the ends

Do the corner first as a triangle laid inwards then roll down, I tuck the hood toggles in to so nothing shows.

I like the hood but scared my mate while running into a trench damn hood makes ya loom like the grim reaper looking into it just makes it look like your staring into nothingness
