I like the first sweater a bit more because it looks neater. The second one has a slightly better shade of light blue, though.

I think the lighter blue hoddie would be better for an import than a marvel legend figure especially with how slim it looks. The torn hoddie looks amazing on this figure though its a work of art with it on
I’m thinking of doing the same too, the one with the tattered edges at least so it matches the one the figure actually has
I will probably get a Scarlet Spider Figure Soon But this looks too good that I also have to buy this Nice Work!

i prefer the one without the torn edges. I personally would just add a wire myself or some sort of velcro thing that was hidden to keep the hood down

What way do you recommend heating up the arms with?
I simply used hair dryer. You can also dip the arms ( from hands up to the shoulders) in hot water, but hairdryer is kinda more convenient.

so the original vest is not glued? just pull vest off with no heat.
Yup just pull it out. A bit difficult though, but after a while i manage to pull it out.

I wish the one with the seamed edges was thin like the tattered one. I'm a fan of the comic look, not the movie look.
There were times on the comic he had the tattered edges too
The spider verse look is pretty accurate the character isn’t also he has the tattered vest in the comics sometimes too
@@Imout-sb5gj He had blonde hair under the hood in Spiderverse. That's not comic accurate at all. He didn't dye his hair until he took over as Spider-Man. A blonde Scarlet Spider is just wrong. But that's not the topic. I prefer the sweater clean at the seams like when he first appeared (like how I perfect the cylinder web shooters on Scarlet over the rectangle ones). Tattered came later.
@@NightwingReturns sorry I was unclear but I meant the suit from spider verse was pretty accurate but if this is supposed to be Ben after he reclaimed the scarlet spider name it would make sense that he would have the blonde hair I know tattered came later but if you want complete accuracy idk what figure is best I’m looking at my clone saga comic books rn and in the earlier ones he didn’t even have a hood he gained the hood a little later
@@Imout-sb5gj I followed you all the way up until you said he earned the hood later on. Ummm... Web of Spider-Man 118, the first in suit appearance, even on the cover he has the hood. You have it backwards. He starts with a hood and later it becomes tattered like the sleeves and bottom eventually become. I like the first appearance "clean" look. Full length sweater, sleeves neatly removed at the seams, full hood intact.
What stand are you using to hold up the figure?
The brand is Obitsu.. very good, have it for like 10 years already and no yellowing or broken parts

Is this new Scarlet Spider the definitive figure of the character in your opinion? Better than Mafex?
Yup, definitely. And I'm not a fan of import brands like mafex figuart revoltech etc. anyways as 1) I don't like that it's fragile and I always have to be extra careful 2) I don't do ACBA shots 3) Most of the time they are not in scale with ML 4)expensive. 😅
So for me definitely ML. But that's just me. I'm sure there's plenty who prefer those brands, so to each their own. ✌🏽
And yeah this one definitely better than the Rhino Wave and Retro Wave Scarelt Spider figures.

@@Stillfigurineout figuarts are not are as delicate as mafex, I've had more QC issues with Hasbro than figuarts
