So many things tore them apart. The media would call Bobby, Mr. Houston and make him feel like he was nobody compared to his own wife...so Whitney would make it a point to say she was Mrs. Brown. It is hard to be two entertainers and your wife is the biggest star on the planet and people hate you because she chose to marry you. Bobby had a lot to deal with...on top of both of their drug addictions. I am surprised they lasted 14+ years together. But, She really did love him, and he loved her. He brought a lot of joy to her life, and when she spoke of him, she had a smile on her face. So maybe the good outweighed the bad.

That’s not love, that’s co-dependency. Even before this early date in their relationship he had already hit her, and cheated on her. Going as far as getting another woman pregnant. If she had any self respect she would have left him long before this. It’s actually very sad.
Whitney really lived her life. She was a multi millionaire, she had millions of fans, she was beautiful, talented, had a good personality, she traveled all over the world, she was blessed. I wish she would have been able to have received long term treatment for her addiction to drugs then she would still be here.
Now this was a special moment shared between them both. It only continues to show the love they had for each other and did you see the way they hugged each other these two really loved each other.
Yes the love they had for each other was so beautiful. Had they not had the horrible addictions I bet they would have made it, Bobby just should have kept doing his music that was his passion too giving that up for her probably made him feel something was missing. I know they had some good times too just when it was bad it was real bad and ended with them hitting on each other and that is not cool. I also dont think he was just kicking her ass every day for 14 years. I think he may have gotten violent 4 or 5 times still not ok but plenty of couples have had a few knock down drag outside when they young then all the partying stops and they end up married for 50 years. They were both addicts and had altered states of mind doing things they otherwise wouldn't do. I am quite sure he has some regrets but he has said repeatedly he loves Whitney and he will always love her very deeply his new wife understands that. I really wish things would have ended different for them.
