It's not really glue! It's gel. But it holds as if it is glue. That's why it's no problem with getting it onto your natural hair. It'll come off and won't remove your hair from your scalp. It's really safe to use.

READ!!****I Used got2b for the first time today and it does get very flaky if it touches your actual hair when using it to lay down a wig. It looks white and crusty under lace. PLEASE LADIES, if you use this got2b glued to lay down your lace fronts, make sure they are not over plucked in the front and there is not alot of lace showing because when the glue dries underneath, your lace will turn white! Make sure you have a full hair line on our lace front or frontal and just make baby hairs. I hate a super full hair line but if you want to use this method, dont over pluck ithe hairs out the lace because it will make the lace get cakey, white and flaky. Also this gel/glue doesn't adhere to actual hair so make sure it is placed primarily on skin/scalp or it will lift!

I was just saying that. that's why I got Got to B ultra glue in the black bottle. Its new, its clear and has the same holding power as the yellow bottle.

you can definitely rock a lace frontal everyday, it just depends on how you apply it. I usually don't have time to fix a lace front closure for a long hold but I get the edges from my lace front to stick and it lasts all day using the same hair gel

I wouldn't say ruin, but certainly annoys the lace as the build up of doing it leaves a dry white residue behind and it's sometimes troublesome to remove. I don't really like to sleep in my wigs, but I have done and the longest mine has stayed decent is 5 days And now I don't like to use this method that often any more as it irritated my skin during the summer (itching etc) and it kind of put me off. Hope this helps x

Would it be possible to wet the area you glued for easier removal? I'm thinking about getting my first wig and I am new to this. I liked your comment and thought you could give more advice, if you don't mind.
You definitely need to wet the area before trying to remove it, but after doing that a few times (wearing and removing), it gets annoying with the white stuff and then trying to get it off the lace is another story. I would recommend the gel as it does indeed work and you may also find that the residue isn't too bad for you etc etc (we're all different) but I personally only use it anymore unless I'm going to be hanging out A-lot with the Mr . Hope this helps x
This hair gel works! I used it for a costume contest on my friend this summer and he was in high humidity and was sweating buckets but it never came off!!! To get it off he had to use water.
You should use the clear kind. And to hide the white that showed in your hair, you can use mascara and/or eyeliner to darken the roots; that is, if you wouldn't mind darkening the roots. The frontal can look more natural with darkened roots.

Does the glue/hair gel ruin the lace or the hair? Because I know with lace glue it'll have the front perimeter really sticky and stiff.. your reponse would be helpful.

Candice Wright For me it doesn't , but it can cause a little buildup where you put the glue. BUT IT DOES COME OFF CLEAN! I just use warm water to remove the dried up gel under the lace.

I sweat a lot, and my school is hot and humid most of the time. I sweat even if I'm sitting down, especially on my face and for head area where a lace fronts wig would lay. I want to start wearing lace fronts wigs but I'm afraid of if I'm at school and bc I sweat so much the lace would noticeably unlatch. is there any tips u have?
just sew it on.. a frontal and bundles or a closure and frontal is fine

Yes, it looked a mess but to give her credit, she actually zoomed into the hairline. A LOT of these youtube 'flawless' tutorials dont zoom and it always looks better on camera than in daylight when someone is staring into your headtop.

You can tint the lace so you wouldnt have to add the make up. An adore dye close to your skin tone diluted with warm water place frontal (hair is safe) in tinted water after bleaching for about 20 min

I think she put too much too and also she had on makeup too it work better with clean skin. The makeup keep it from sticking. The hair was a pretty color.

It can last longer than 3 days it all depends on how you sleep in it. Great video, just one tip, dont use too much paste, hence why you can ser the paste through the frontal
she clearly used too much gel. She didn't even let the first layer of gel dry before putting the second layer on.

the gel or glue shouldn't be placed on the hair but a lil passed the hairline on the skin an apply a lil at a time to much of the product was brush into the hair that also made it look so flaky when it dried. I also learned this the hard way when it dried

I use this method because my edges r gone... I usually see my hair done n put this glue on my edges since I can't braid it... It's doesn't harm ur hair or hairline I promise u...jus shampoo and water n poof it's gone

I just got this gel, the clear kind. It will stick if you hold it down for a few minutes (on each part that needs to be held down), and let a fan (turned all the way up) blow on it afterward. Best to hold it down with an object, like the end of a comb. I know people say use a blow dryer on cool, but I currently don't have a blow dryer (and I don't think that the recent one I used had a "cool" option). Maybe it held in my case because my case is a sew-in and all I need to worry about is making the frontal look natural at the front.

I cannot get this stuff to work for me. I have the Ultra glued and all I end up with is super stiff hair on the sides of my head but the lace won't stick to it. I'm wondering if it has to be lace to skin contact instead of lace to hair contact...

KhloeHelps, it gets a little white, especially if you use too much. But putting a little water and/or eyeliner on the spots will help the white spot areas blend in. If you wear black hair, which it seems that you do, the eyeliner will help the hair blend in really well. If you wear lighter hair, the eyeliner will simply make it look like you have dark roots.
