In canon she supposedly can, it's just the Kwami refuses to eat from the holder's life source if their young. If Tikki felt Marinette needed it, she would certainly provide the extra protection needed for Marinette to survive the fight

Ladybug sweeps for a multitude of reasons: - It's canonical that the miraculous' powers are only limited by the user themselves, meaning infinite potential power if you're able to overcome mental blockage - Ladybug's main power is summoning the exact item she needs to win against an opponent (though this is dependent on her figuring out how to use it, she is smart & always does) - She can reverse any damage caused by said opponent - If we're involving Chat Noir & his miraculous, she could theoretically just make a wish that completely rewrites the universe so Homelander doesn't exist - If we're involving Bunnix it's just over. With her, Ladybug can change the course of time and if Homelander isn't _supposed_ to defeat her & the correct timeline is threatened, Bunnix will step in. And bonus: in season 5 Ladybug loses her main disadvantage of having to transform back 5 minutes after using her main ability (not that this matters since she can usually defeat her opponent in that time), so she can now not only stay transformed indefinitely, but use her ability as many times as she wants

Most Akumatized villains could wipe John(Homelander). I can Only think of 2 scenarios where he doesn't get speed blitzed by ladybug without even needing lucky charm. 1, he is given a Miraculous. Or 2, after losing the first bout with ladybug and being flung across the city hawkmoth akumatizes him and since he presumably would have an alliance (or 10 with his ego) he gets miraculous powers on top of his transformation and still likely loses to ladybug
I also wanna put out there that reversing time DOES NOT STOP HER. They have shown in the show the episode Intuition, Monarch has off screen reversed time with the snake miraculous a butt ton of times only to be bested by Ladybug every, single, time. Thats scary. Ladybug is one of those overpowered characters who can beat anyone despite not being able to do massive damage (she can't blow up a city or anything), she can beat anyone because her powers literally give her an object that will somehow defeat anyone. You can't beat her because she always gets the item she needs.
The thing is LB in her universe is pretty easy to defeat. It just needs one character with actual any amount of competence and the butterfly (as shown multiple times throughout the show, most recent with Lila in the London special).
@Markus2E5I6 most of her wins were influenced by Bunnix or a direct cause of it. And most of the times it was Gabriels incompetence. Lila however stole the butterfly and got rid of Bunnix in her first few minutes with it. The only reason she „lost“ is because Marinette risked everything multiple times with time resets and that Alix was in the rabbit hole. So yeah Marinette in her verse is relatively easy to pin down.

absolutely agree. two points: 1. dodging light beams does not mean being faster than light... you just have to be faster than the hand aiming the beam. if someone shoots a bullet at you and it doesn't hit, does it automatically mean that you perceived the bullet after it went out the barrel, reacted and moved away from it's trajectory in time? cause i would usually say someone just missed you (especially when you're moving quickly). furthermore, we don't know if these are magical light beams or energy blasts, which could (and seem to be) significantly slower. secondly. the horse miraculous. PORTALS ARE NOT QUICK TRAVEL, THEY ARE SHORTCUTS! when you go through a portal, you're not moving through all of the space between the two edges. you're exiting the space "system", and entering somewhere else. it's like going to the menu and selecting "open planet earth" instead of going through the game to get there.

Like, one of the attacks is literally a magic camera flash. The funny thing is, I do have an example of then reacting to lasers that have already been fired and are right in their face. I just didn't put in the video. My bad. As for the second point, I wasn't really talking about the portal itself. I was talking about the speed of the magic beam that that created the portal.

Even if we assume that those lasers are actual lasers moving at the speed of light, the ones shooting them don't have perfect and instant aim. They just have to dodge the arm holding the laser, which's much slower than lightspeed. Also, we never see two ladybugs at once, which would happen if she moved faster than the speed of light towards the camera, nor is there ever any blue- or red-shifting when she moves towards or away from the camera, meaning she's not even close to the speed of light.

Crazy to think how many people sleep on Cat Blank as if he is not the villian who ALMOST ended the show 😭and still gives Ladybug chills when she thinks about him. I would like to see a Villian vs Villian for Cat Blank cuz i cant really see any of the new anime villians beat him with his AP
I do too. Cat blank was one of the BEST antagonists the show had to offer, even his special episode managed to fund the show for the rest of the month just for everyone to sleep and move past him. He could've just ended the entire show by literally MURDERING ladybug there and then, but he didn't because plot armor in the way of obsession. Seeing a 1v1 between a similar antagonist would be quite fun, if i do say so myself.
The kwamii are creatures created when a new universals concept is made. Tikki being creation is one of the oldest and most powerful and is strongly implied to be responsible for the creation of the entire universe. If not just her then she was at least part of it. Even so, her counterpart and implied equal, plagg, is stated to be responsible for the extinction of the dinosaurs. Her powers are not as destructive or have much attack power behind them, but the sheer near limitless potential of ladybug’s power is more than enough to beat homelander, even if she didn’t learn to use her lucky charm multible times.

Key point to mention. The lucky charm power does not give you the exact item you need to overcome an opponent. Her power is luck. When she uses lucky charm it gives her an item that rigs the chances of certain things happening. When Mr. Bug happened we found out that the lucky charm adapts to be used by the holder. Ironically marinette's massive rube goldberg machines are her way of gaming the magic ability. Say you had an ability to make dice always land on the highest number possible. Other holders see that ability and try to get the biggest die they can to get the biggest result. Marinette decides to get as many dice involved as possible instead. Mr. Bug gets a bat and a lucky shot to the back of the head, ladybug gets a tube of lipstick and decides to toss it on the ground and get the enemy stuck in a beach umbrella so they stumble around and trip because of the lipstick.

No it gives the item you need. When adrien used the ladybug miraculous his lucky charm was clever and direct because adrien doesn't overthink like Marinette does

Yeah, Miraculous power-scaling is ridiculous. Remember that time Chat/Cat Noir got akumatised and made a Cataclysm about 10 times larger than the Milky way? (When one the size of a person's head knocked down a skyscraper, and one the size of a several city blocks cut the moon in half)

As of the season 5 finale I don’t think it’s close… she has access to all the other miraculous from her yo-yo and we also find out that her charm accounts for time travel
@R.W.P. The only way villains had to stop him was a plan to dump him at the bottom of a lake while practically being a cement block. He said he'd be okay, but wouldn't be able to escape. He's been in space multiple times without a suit and been extremely screwed over from temperature, but once he's brought back he ends up being okay. Bro just doesn't have proper super strength or speed. He can theoretically use hysterical strength since his body will never break though.

Same outcome. Ultimately, the kwamis represent the very forces of the universe itself. The more in-tune with those aspects of reality the holder is, the more they can use it. This means the holders are less "players in the match" and more "referees" or "officials" outside of the match. This is why the big bad of Miraculous has to be another holder, such a person is the only possible real threat.
The ladybug miraculous is way too overpowered, it's beatable, but it's so powerful, not even TIME TRAVEL is going to fix it. I blame the show for this because of how bad they're power-scaling is. The ladybug miraculous is SO extremely powerful that NO other miraculous is even needed anymore.
The problem is Homelander has constant access to his powers. So if we assume they fight like in a boxing ring Marinette needs to first transform and than eat one of her Macarons she needs to take out of her Miraculous (because fun fact the Jojo is a portable infinite storage device and a phone on top). So even if we assume Ladybug being the combatant she won’t be able to fly as Homelander would snipe her access. Similar to her Lucky Charm. So honestly it would be a stalemate until one of them is too fatigued (as Tikki can’t channel infinite power into Marinette). But thats no fun. Now lets assume Homelander has the destructive power necessary to destroy a Miraculous (as it should be possible because of the bs season 4 was). Now imagine for a second that manages to do this. So because now unbound we have true form Tikki and Marinette falling. And we get a battle Homelander vs the Aspect of Creation. And then well he is dead. And because Homelander in this case is a villain Ladybug could reset the world later. One final example because why not. In Kuro Neko we learn (and later never see again) that the abilities of the Miraculous are determined by the holder (we see this in Long being both a Kwami and a Remling in the Shanghai special). And as each concept is vague enough to allow some loophole to oneshot John (like willing an exploding Antimatter bomb into existing or timetraveling to a time where John died of old age) its just so funny. So comment down below what would be the most fun way to defeat John. I go first: Using the bee miraculous which is the miraculous of domination and literally poking John into submission.

@ okay this tells me that you haven’t watched the video or read my comment. The only prove that she is faster than Homelander in base form is due to Startrain and those feats were done by Pegasus instead of Ladybug, also we later have confirmation about the speed in season 5 while being fast is not nearly as fast as light speed (I think the Aliance ring from her friend in the episode with Darker Owl showed her being able to travel something of 400 kilometers in 15 mins or something but not the marc speed of Homelander). So Startrain mainly was rule of cool and Astruc breaking his universe for the funnies. Then the thing that made Ladybug faster than Homelander is a Macaron she has limited amounts of (2 per upgrade) she needs to take out of her Jojo and eat. And similar to her Lucky Charm Homelander can snipe these things from her. So preventing her from eating it is all he needs to do. And again to repeat I don’t think Homelander wins this. Especially after Ladybug can stay her suit past Lucky charm. However I say they are in a stalemate where neither can defeat the other if Homelander doesn’t let her power up. But because of her experience and her endurance Ladybug can outlast Homelander so she can wait until he falls asleep. Then one Lucky charm is all it takes.

No one can defeat Ladybug with her Lucky Charm, but if she alter to use it for bad purposes, she eventually will loose and the lucky charm will find it's way to be used for the greater good makin the user do things for the better.
The power scaling in ladybug kinda sucks, like, the butterfly miraculous is supposed to be weaker than the ladybug and black cat miraculous but can duplicate their powers without their weaknesses, as well as every other power. It has no time limit and ladybug and chat often needed to get power ups and back up to handle akumas, and that's not including the time hawkmoth created an Akuma that made him akumatize the entire city at the same time. And you can claim that Hawkmoth might only he this strong because he's an adult but in that case giving the strongest miraculouses to children is foolish. Either the ladybug and black cat are the strongest miraculouses of they aren't, you can't make the butterfly this op and say that it's somehow weaker than them.
The ladybug and cat miraculous are weaker because they are kids. I don't remember when, but it was said at some point that adult Ladybug and Chat Noir no longer need to depower, ear and repower again. About the Butterfly, it is insanely powerful. But since it can get completely nullified by the Ladybug, the latter automatically ranks higher once used by another person of the same power level. To be more concise: if the Ladybug miraculous was used by an adult Marinette with a slightly lower sense of morality than teen Marinette, Hawkmoth would have not lasted a week.

The ladybug and cat miraculous combined can grant you a wish that completely changes reality, so yeah they're definitely more powerful. Also the ladybug miraculous has specific powers that can combat the butterfly, including the power to de-akumatize. I think the butterfly can only mimic other Miraculous' powers or give the akumatized person something similar, as one Kwami cannot copy another Kwami's ability exactly. The only reason ladybug and chat noir had a time limit is because they were kids. They actually lose this disadvantage in season 5
I've seen an argument why rooster might be the best, since you can even give yourself a power "when the enemy sees me he gives up" and had to nerf Oriko, so Garbiel coudn't wish for an instant win (though he would still lose cuz he's Gabe after all). I think miraculouses have WAYYYYYYYYYY more potential than shown. Remember, with Plagg and Tikki you can warp reality.
in canon, the kwami of destruction Plagg accidentally caused both the extinction of the dinosaurs and the destruction of atlantis, because he was hungry and made a mistake. he collapsed all of paris by touching the pavement with one hand in an instant. the kwami of creation, tikki (the ladybug) is his equal and can change entire realities on a whim. their fusion holds unlimited power
About the Horse the beam it Didn't actually move faster than the Train He was already on the train and was moving 8 billion times light speed before he shot the beam Kind of like when you fire a bullet while on a plane The Projectiles speed adds on to your initial speed
That's what I would assume... if it was a bullet. But it was a ray, and it wasn't physically connected to anything on the train, just fired from the air around his wrist, so there wouldn't be the initial speed transfer.

If it really came down to it, Ladybug could literally wish you out of the universe (possibly multiverse?) using a wish made by using both the kwami of creation and destruction to make the kwami of reality. She wouldn't do this unless the whole universe (again, possibly multiverse?) was going to end up destroyed anyway since making the wish completely destroys and remakes the universe (broken record but, possibly multiverse?)

Ladybug is one of those overpowered characters who can beat anyone despite not being able to do massive damage (she can't blow up a city or anything), she can beat anyone because her powers literally give her an object that will somehow defeat anyone.

The thing is LB in her universe is pretty easy to defeat.

1. dodging light beams does not mean being faster than light... you just have to be faster than the hand aiming the beam. if someone shoots a bullet at you and it doesn't hit, does it automatically mean that you perceived the bullet after it went out the barrel, reacted and moved away from it's trajectory in time? cause i would usually say someone just missed you (especially when you're moving quickly).
furthermore, we don't know if these are magical light beams or energy blasts, which could (and seem to be) significantly slower.

Also, we never see two ladybugs at once, which would happen if she moved faster than the speed of light towards the camera, nor is there ever any blue- or red-shifting when she moves towards or away from the camera, meaning she's not even close to the speed of light.

Cat blank was one of the BEST antagonists the show had to offer, even his special episode managed to fund the show for the rest of the month just for everyone to sleep and move past him.

Tikki being creation is one of the oldest and most powerful and is strongly implied to be responsible for the creation of the entire universe. If not just her then she was at least part of it. Even so, her counterpart and implied equal, plagg, is stated to be responsible for the extinction of the dinosaurs. Her powers are not as destructive or have much attack power behind them, but the sheer near limitless potential of ladybug’s power is more than enough to beat homelander, even if she didn’t learn to use her lucky charm multible times.

Key point to mention. The lucky charm power does not give you the exact item you need to overcome an opponent. Her power is luck. When she uses lucky charm it gives her an item that rigs the chances of certain things happening. When Mr. Bug happened we found out that the lucky charm adapts to be used by the holder.
Ironically marinette's massive rube goldberg machines are her way of gaming the magic ability. Say you had an ability to make dice always land on the highest number possible. Other holders see that ability and try to get the biggest die they can to get the biggest result. Marinette decides to get as many dice involved as possible instead. Mr. Bug gets a bat and a lucky shot to the back of the head, ladybug gets a tube of lipstick and decides to toss it on the ground and get the enemy stuck in a beach umbrella so they stumble around and trip because of the lipstick.

Same outcome. Ultimately, the kwamis represent the very forces of the universe itself. The more in-tune with those aspects of reality the holder is, the more they can use it. This means the holders are less "players in the match" and more "referees" or "officials" outside of the match. This is why the big bad of Miraculous has to be another holder, such a person is the only possible real threat.

Like litteraly, the only reason there's ever a semblance of challenge is because she doesn't know what the f*ck she's doing half the time.
The problem is Homelander has constant access to his powers.
So if we assume they fight like in a boxing ring Marinette needs to first transform and than eat one of her Macarons she needs to take out of her Miraculous (because fun fact the Jojo is a portable infinite storage device and a phone on top).
So even if we assume Ladybug being the combatant she won’t be able to fly as Homelander would snipe her access. Similar to her Lucky Charm.
So honestly it would be a stalemate until one of them is too fatigued (as Tikki can’t channel infinite power into Marinette).
But thats no fun.
Now lets assume Homelander has the destructive power necessary to destroy a Miraculous (as it should be possible because of the bs season 4 was).
Now imagine for a second that manages to do this.
So because now unbound we have true form Tikki and Marinette falling.
And we get a battle Homelander vs the Aspect of Creation.
And then well he is dead.
And because Homelander in this case is a villain Ladybug could reset the world later.
One final example because why not.
In Kuro Neko we learn (and later never see again) that the abilities of the Miraculous are determined by the holder (we see this in Long being both a Kwami and a Remling in the Shanghai special).
And as each concept is vague enough to allow some loophole to oneshot John (like willing an exploding Antimatter bomb into existing or timetraveling to a time where John died of old age) its just so funny.

I go first: Using the bee miraculous which is the miraculous of domination and literally poking John into submission.

The only prove that she is faster than Homelander in base form is due to Startrain and those feats were done by Pegasus instead of Ladybug, also we later have confirmation about the speed in season 5 while being fast is not nearly as fast as light speed (I think the Aliance ring from her friend in the episode with Darker Owl showed her being able to travel something of 400 kilometers in 15 mins or something but not the marc speed of Homelander).
So Startrain mainly was rule of cool and Astruc breaking his universe for the funnies.
Then the thing that made Ladybug faster than Homelander is a Macaron she has limited amounts of (2 per upgrade) she needs to take out of her Jojo and eat.
And similar to her Lucky Charm Homelander can snipe these things from her.
So preventing her from eating it is all he needs to do.
And again to repeat I don’t think Homelander wins this. Especially after Ladybug can stay her suit past Lucky charm.

The power scaling in ladybug kinda sucks, like, the butterfly miraculous is supposed to be weaker than the ladybug and black cat miraculous but can duplicate their powers without their weaknesses, as well as every other power. It has no time limit and ladybug and chat often needed to get power ups and back up to handle akumas, and that's not including the time hawkmoth created an Akuma that made him akumatize the entire city at the same time.
And you can claim that Hawkmoth might only he this strong because he's an adult but in that case giving the strongest miraculouses to children is foolish.
Either the ladybug and black cat are the strongest miraculouses of they aren't, you can't make the butterfly this op and say that it's somehow weaker than them.
Not to mention how despite the black cat miraculous supposing to be the ladybug's equal, Ladybug has more powers.
The ladybug and cat miraculous are weaker because they are kids. I don't remember when, but it was said at some point that adult Ladybug and Chat Noir no longer need to depower, ear and repower again.
About the Butterfly, it is insanely powerful. But since it can get completely nullified by the Ladybug, the latter automatically ranks higher once used by another person of the same power level.
To be more concise: if the Ladybug miraculous was used by an adult Marinette with a slightly lower sense of morality than teen Marinette, Hawkmoth would have not lasted a week.

The ladybug and cat miraculous combined can grant you a wish that completely changes reality, so yeah they're definitely more powerful. Also the ladybug miraculous has specific powers that can combat the butterfly, including the power to de-akumatize.
I think the butterfly can only mimic other Miraculous' powers or give the akumatized person something similar, as one Kwami cannot copy another Kwami's ability exactly.
The only reason ladybug and chat noir had a time limit is because they were kids. They actually lose this disadvantage in season 5
I've seen an argument why rooster might be the best, since you can even give yourself a power "when the enemy sees me he gives up" and had to nerf Oriko, so Garbiel coudn't wish for an instant win (though he would still lose cuz he's Gabe after all). I think miraculouses have WAYYYYYYYYYY more potential than shown. Remember, with Plagg and Tikki you can warp reality.

Super goku scale higher than inf zamasu who merged with An entire time line
Timeline in DB include :living world(where most of the story take part in)->Death zone/super dimension(a hyperspace so it would be 5D)->after life(transcend all those realm and have Inf size so it would be inf 6D)->Neutral zone which hold 12 Inf size 6D structures(12 Universe) and make them seperate with each other so it would be 7D->Zeno palace view the entire Multiverse and neutral zone as small sphere/small chess board despite they have Inf in size so it would be 8D->the time line would be 9D
So goku is 9D(this is the high end scaling)
For mid end scaling he would be inf 6->Inf 7D

If it really came down to it, Ladybug could literally wish you out of the universe (possibly multiverse?) using a wish made by using both the kwami of creation and destruction to make the kwami of reality. She wouldn't do this unless the whole universe (again, possibly multiverse?) was going to end up destroyed anyway since making the wish completely destroys and remakes the universe (broken record but, possibly multiverse?)
