    Multiple record holder Ron Cooper from Massachusetts, USA attempts to break the record for the most pull ups with a 60 lb ( (27.2 kg) pack in one minute.

    I did this yesterday AFTER a full 3 sets of 10 at 230lb body weight.
    I managed to do 4.

    Cooper is legit, he is just following the GWR guidelines as closely as he can. He is popular with GWR with a history with them. Your chances are much improved if you pay $10,000 to have a GWR adjudicator at your event. It is the responsibility of the judge to validate your form or not....trust me I know.

      Now it's 31 by Ruslan Fatakhov. He holds 3 Guinness WR for Most pull ups in one minute with 40 lb, 60lb and 100lb pack respectively.

      It is impressive but, I though it would be more I trained my pull ups for 6 months and I am approaching the world record I know I can get it in a few months I can do around 12 in a min. I’m 14. There is no way this is the record I seen people do more than this

    I'm doing 7,8 with 35lb, me being around 195. That's a lot of weight in that pack

    he's slightly resting his feet on the platform between most of the reps, especially in the end. When i do that, it gets considerably easier for me to perform the pullups as i don't have to engage my core as much to keep my body stabile and not swing, so shouldn't that be considered cheating?

      No way is he beating Eddie Hall's 500kg deadlift and whoever has superior genetics for muscle(quite a few people)holds squat record so wut the fook is the point of your question?! I mean if Eddie cared about losing some weight to beat the 18 he probably would but he may just care about beating the 740 lb. bench press record for the rest of his life(currently that's what he's going for)and nothing wrong wif dat. :P

    Wouldnt count any of these; such as his 60lb "push ups".... compare this to the guy that did the 2 finger pull ups; that guy had proper form, this is just bs.
    He is just bending his neck to cheat the last 15 centimeters by still barely even getting his chin over the bar... dumb rules if they allow this to be counted.

    Not saying it's not impressive, but if you're setting a record you've got to have some standards; his chin should obviously be straight, he's missing the top inch or so of the pull up, the hardest bit.

      +Kevin Bernardy For the most part, no. His chin has to go over the bar for it to count which it does, near the end, his chin didn't really go over it so I wouldn't count 'em.

      +itay tabib If someone is bigger then there would be more wieght on them because they have to pull up there body weight. And the 60lb pack... So it's not always about being bigger. A smaller person could do 30 pull ups because of how light there body weight is but a big guy could do about 15 because of how heavy his body is

      No that's not true. I'm the only one in my gym that can do more than 10 and im 135lbs the most i can do is 28 but most of the bigger guys can't do more than 10. So size really does matter. The more weight you need to lift the harder it is.

      +milano132 I can't tell if ur just messing around or not but 60 pounds is a lot of weight. At least to be added on to weight you already have. If u had a sixty pound bag on your back u would be lucky to make it into the next room.
