Beautiful train video , this is the first views i HAVE SEEN OF THIS AREA THAT i HAVE WATCHED TRAINS ON FOR OVER 60 YEARS , THAMKS /
Thank you Dennis. I really enjoy making videos of our area.
I read about that bridge in a magazine not too long ago. Very interesting. Great job with the drone!!
The Best RR Bridge! Love The Sunset 🌅! Music Selection Was Awesome 🎹🎻🎼
Incredible! Some great visuals for weathering model structures.
Loved the weathered bridges
Nicely done. Amazing how much elevation helps.
Great drone operation, editing and music selection. Thanks.
Nicely done! The photographs at the end were a nice addition.
I've just watched this again for like the 100th time and I don't grow tired of it! You inspire me to fly my drone further than 25 feet above and 25 feet away! That is some awesome flying and editing! Well done Brian!
Wow, fantastic video. Back in the 70's I used to water ski under that bridge a look up at the RR tracks. When I was older and attending ISUE (now USI,) my friends would sometimes make a trek over to the Dogtown Tavern. Nice video, thanks for posting it and bringing back some fond memories.
toicat I went to ISUE as well watched hundreds of trains on that stretch and Howell yard from the Super Inn
This bridge is part of CSX's route between Chicago and Nashville and part of this is the former C&EI north of Evansville in Indiana and the former L&N south of Henderson in Kentucky.
Thanks so much for posting it. Loved seeing that terrain.
I'm a little biased because this is close to where I grew up, but this is the coolest rail video on youtube
Superb video!
Amazing bridge. Superb video. :)
EXCELLENT VIDEO ! THIS IS BY FAR YOUR BEST WORK.
Great video
great video
yes, beautiful video. Superlative. Am impressed.
awesome video thanks for sharing, im still trying to learn how to edit.
Fan-Damn-Tastic. One of the best videos I ever watched and certainly the most creative.
Thanks for sharing this video of which many of us would not otherwise get to experience!
Great video & also music that is very tasteful & doesn't detract.
Great stuff. Great use of a drone trailing stills were interesting. Thanks.
Great video thanks for your sharing,
Epic sound and Epic video paired
Long. Interesting. Not quite as massive as the Sciotoville Limeville bridge over the Ohio
Why did they build the bridge wide enough for two sets of tracks, but the approach ramp is only wide enough for one set?
Nice vid, interesting perspective.
Very nice video and stills. I have to assume that the reason the track is elevated over the farm land is that the land is on a flood plain -- if so, do you know when the place flooded last?
The arc of the elevated track over the farm land is actually quite beautiful.
A shame about the tilted horizon, but as a DJI Inspire 1 Pro owner I know how that goes.
Again, great video and stills and thanks for posting...
Thanks. It usually floods every winter when the Ohio gets all the snow melt from back east. Also if heavy rains fall up river that can cause it to come out but it does take quite a bit of rain to get it flooded and high water covering the area.
thats the old C&EI main into evansville...rode over it a few times
i'm sorry FROM Evansville into KY
i was usually sleepin when i went over the river...didn't get off the train til Nortonville
Actually...it was L&N main South of Evansville....C&EI North of Evansville....The C&EI never went into KY
great music btw
Looks like the span over the river had enough room for two tracks but I think the second track was never built.
This is close to the tristate tornado area of 1925 which of historical importance.
I CONTEND C-S-X DIDN'T BUILD THIS BRIDGE IN THE VIDEO WAIT TILL A TRAIN COMES OVER IT JUST GOPE THERE WILL BE NO DERAILMENTS HERE.
L&N built the bridge back in the thirties
can someone please tell me why the bridge is being demolished?
+Ryan Crawford Parry The bridge is not being demolished. If your referring to the slide show at the end that is new crossties and rail being installed. They had to pull the old rail, concrete ties and ballast off to install new rail, wood ties and ballast. Concrete ties on a concrete deck pulverized the ballast rock so wood had to be re-installed to protect the ballast.
+Grainexpress wasn't really sure what was happening. It's a great railway bridge and probably an important line throughout the state of Kentucky
near tristate tornado area
I hate to say this but in next few years that line will be either what they call moth balled or
Railbankd like ns peavine line cause they want spend money on things like that
I would like to hear train sound in stead of silly music playing
Norm Newman comments like this is why I quit putting much of an effort into doing train videos. Sorry Norm but with a drone it’s not possible.
@@Grainexpress I seen drone video with train sounds. They edit it in the video later ,after they record it from a tape recorder. By the tracks..Sorry to up set U
Sorry to upset you
