You guys make so many wonderful, off the cuff movie recommendations! I’ve legit started a notes file on all of them. Death of a Maiden, Child 44, The Revolt of Mamie Stover......etc, etc! Love the channel!!
Will do, because I found Death of a Maiden on RUclips last night and......HOLY CHRIST is that an amazing movie!! I mean, wow. Incredible! Watched it last night and am going to rewatch it with my husband today. I was so engrossed by the acting on scene, riveted. The only real question I had was from the very last scene. Do you think they may have regretted not killing him? Or did I miss something.
SPOILER: - - - - - - Interesting but I thought the ending was weak, it ties everything up with a bloody bow. Imagine the last scene in the park with the German still alive, his family not knowing his secret but the kidnappers do. And he knows theirs.
Thank you! I was not going to watch it because I like Joel Kinnaman and I not to fond of Noomi Rapace. But now Id like to see it. I like spoilers because I get to caught up and can’t watch a movie if I don’t know what to expect lol.
Another great review. I was happy to hear that her husband takes on the weight of killing the nazi. As mentioned, Repace's character in Angel of Mine had a similar angle. You should review that film because I thought it was very well done and Yvonne Strahovski, who is most well known here in the states for the action/comedy series Chuck, stole the show and acted the fuck out of the climatic scene.
interesting cast and storyline. Well framed guys...might see this on the weekend. Keep up the videos, stay the course, you will definitely build a following.
Hi guys, 53-y/o here. Your title says you spoil movies & I'd just seen this flick so it was OK. What was not OK was that you spoiled another Noomi Rapace movie I'd wanted to see w/o warning, ruining that movie for me. That is NOT OK. No one likes a movie spoiled, esp'ly a surprise endings! For "Secrets," it was an update of "Death & the Maiden/Extremities" & was based on a real Roma massacre. To me, Noomi's friendship w/the wife helped solve the mystery. Something happened to me in 5th grade (age 10), & I never understood how another class could be so against me, & ended up switching schools but hated sports, gym, etc., bc of the whole thing, & didn't play sports until grad school (in my 30s), due to some coaxing from classmates. One of my 5th-grade classmates married a girl from my high school & she told me abt his childhood & why he'd pick on otr kids, so this movie resonated w/me. Noomi was haunted & wanted knowledge abt the incident, & the guy was haunted too & trying to forget. I'd give it 4 stars (excellent). But that's me.
The Secrets We Keep - Let's see how sick Americans perceive this movie - Redemption? Murder? Retribution? Should the guy have been allowed to live? Should they have told the police and had the man arrested? Told the authorities? Confess and let him walk away and keep the secrets? - Two wrongs don't make a right and murder is murder so....was this a fair and just outcome or should the husband and wife go to jail for murder?
@@sabrinafairchild1058 he should've been arested and trialed for his crimes, it's not on you to do vigilante fucking justice are you actually advocating for the murder and kidnapping of someone by civilians with no legal authority?

Rapists deserve death, NOT trial.
they should go to jail for murder and kidnapping, and the nazi should have been handed over to the authorities
@@lNovalandl oh really they should go to jail. They killed a nazi.Big woop!!m He was a rapist and a mass murderer. Shut the f*** up!
