To anyone who's pointing out that he's missing... he's moving in the style properly, or at least as properly as possible while still hitting MOST notes.

He tries to keep it to two hands but it's clearly something he's new to. Given enough time and practice I'm sure he'd get it down.
or you know you can just leave the blade one handed sometimes to let the blade bring its own momentum. It's clearly an aesthetic choice. kappa
Just a heads up, Kylo's fighting style is less about the flowing elegance of previous fights, and more about viseral, raw emotion. He will often just swing wildly and hard, leaving himself temporarily open.
The style you used was very similar but a lot more elegant. So you might just want to try to take out any anger or frustration you might have on those blocks. That should help you get out of the mindset of the older lightsaber fights and more into the mindset of the modern, emotional ones.
I agree, but the way that Ragesaq moves makes me envision that his way of using Kylos style might be how Kylos style would've looked had Kylo stayed a Light Sider

Imagine if the games visuals made it look like you were reflecting blaster bolts
You mean like some sort of Arcade Mode, where instead of slicing blocks you deflect different colored blaster bolts (can have them be all red, all blue, or mix it up to make it harder), and if they hit you, your score drops? Does that sound like what you're envisioning, or is that just me?

But Kylo lost to a force sensitive with literally zero training in any kind of martial arts let alone a lightsaber. I'm pretty sure ragesaq has at least a decent chance.
TMFlesh that is a plot pretty big plot hole I agree (snoke does too) but she knows how to use her staff very well. Also she starts to win when Kylo says “I can show you the ways of the force” and then she says “the force” and it looks like she fully embraces the force which could have given her an edge
If it were a smarter more well written movie I might give it that but along with all the other dumb stuff that happens in the movie I am unwilling to give it the benefit of the doubt.

this game looks like what jedi and sith use to train their apprentices. Just me but this is more efficent, safer, and more challenging then using space spider senses to defect lethal laser rounds that come out of a drone that is more accurate then storm troopers.
What's the cheapest vr set that can run this? I've never been interested in vr until this
The oculus rift is the VR system to get! The Windows MR ones are slightly cheaper but TOTALLY not worth it
I believe they use the Vive at Rooster Teeth, any thoughts on that? I'm also looking to get into this and know nothing about what I'd need for it since I've been too busy to keep up on VR and haven't had an interest at all until this game.
The vive is easier to set up for 360 room tracking and slightly better positional tracking (i mean slightly btw, we're talking millimetre difference), can be set up for full body tracking with extra sensors, still feels a bit like a dev kit and is the most expensive. The rift needs an extra cable to be purchased to get 360 dual sensor tracking which is ok, a third sensor for 3 sensor tracking which is superior, has a lighter headset and way more superior controllers. Right now the rift is definitely the better buy as it's significantly cheaper than the vive with better controllers and similar tracking abilities.
A computer that can run it should be where you start
Most pre-made (not built by yourself) computers come VR ready now. If he got one for christmas or something like that, then he should be good. As to answer the original question, most, if not all, VR systems can run this game. I use the Vive but I've heard good things about oculus and vive. So pick which one you're into.

It would be interesting to try this with a full size replica wooden sword attached, the extra momentum would defiantly make the motions different/harder.

That said, lightsaber doesn't have the weight limitations of a physical sword.

The fact I used this to listen to while taking out gangs of thugs on batman Arkham knight. It works when you get moves in at the right time

i cut pool noodles in half so i could try the songs without buying the game.
I full comboed fire and flames on sightread. from there, tried a bunch of songs i knew from other rhythm games, found most to be utterly horrible, because people think they can get away by just doing up and down beats. I wish people were more creative with the maps. The default maps are by far the best and funnest

I appreciate the movement style and it's accuracy. But it's weird why that song is labeled as "expert." It's more like medium at most... Not being a hater but it's true. I would love to see you play on much harder difficulties.

I always figured Klyo Ren's style is more like that of wielding a Claymore or in fantasy terms "Greatsword". It is all about brute unadulterated force. Caring little for defense. All to smash the defense of your enemy. Though really believe his saber should have been longer to give this image. And his attacks very forceful Even using the Force to really put pressure on whoever he faced in combat. Yet, of course, Disney sucks at writing a good combat scene. Even an average one is better than anything Disney can think up. Really my idea of Klyo's fighting style is a billion times better. As I am bias. Won't lie. As I like my ideas.

funny thing is that a few of those moves remind me of longsword/greatsword techniques

Ha, This is so cool. But I can see your attempt to wield the sword like you wield the Darth maul saber. I would use the blade more like I was fencing rather than wield it two-handed.
