Run boy run is one of those songs that makes me cry without fail every time I hear it, and the way you absolutely did this song justice by adding in extra syncopated beats keeps me coming back again and again. All the extra beats at the climax of the song building from 2:25 and onwards gets my blood pumping like crazy. You not only matched but elevated the energy of this song. Brings a tear to my eye every single time.
Back a year later to reply to my own comment and tell you this is still my preferred way to listen to this song. I don't even listen to the normal version of this song anymore because I just miss the beats that you added :/ you've ruined me.
I'd imagine the game gets much easier as you get used to it. When you first play it, your brain doesn't understand what's going on, but as you play more, you're able to train your brain to only focus on specific things
Geometry Dash is a non-VR PC/Mobile game that is slightly similar to VR. Demon is the hardest difficulty available in those games, OP was talking about a level that uses an instrumental version of this song that is demon difficulty.

He also scored the movie Desierto when the person he got asked by said 'What do you think the desert SOUNDS like?" and that's how he scored that movie. Finally, lookup the song Volcano by Woodkid, it has a much more modern hard beating EDM sound to it, blended with his famous melodic strings as backing sound, it's what I base that first statement of that I'd love to see his take on certain action movies!

The way you made this chart flow with the music is incredible. I can't really describe it, but without following the song beat-for-beat, you've added another layer to it which sounds amazing. It also took out some possible repetitiveness that could've come from all those galloping stretches.
