"Give your heart to God 'cause your ass is Marie's" - Classic Frank Barone line. May Peter Boyle and Doris Roberts both rest in peace. Many thanks for just as many great laughs.
Also another sweet moment is Frank yelling at the guys at the Lodge. He couldn't stand the perverted remarks they were saying about Debra. And despite the fact he took a oath. As it wasn't some floosy. It was someone he saw as his daughter. Awwww.
@@chemicalhap After all he did eat the backside of the ham...LOL But still he didn't have to take the fall for Debra....it's that he didn't want to see her get yelled at by Marie...and he's used to it. And it's implied they enjoy the bickering.

Frank absolutely loved Debra. The daughter they never had. I remember one episode he told her he always felt like it was her and him against everybody else.
This episode gave Patricia Heaton her second Emmy Award. There was a scene cut at the start of this episode that just would have made her earn that award even more.

Frank proved that he was a hidden hero....It made me tear up alittle. My Dad would stand up for my wife...at least 3 tiimes that I remember...Frank reminds me so much of my Dad...bald and all...I miss this show and I miss my wonderful Dad.
Debra is as well, to be honest. She abuses Ray, just differently than Marie does. I wish Ray stood up to those two bitches more. At least Frank had balls and wasn't afraid to tell it like it was
Not as much as The Super Bowl episode. Debra acted completely selfish and unreasonable. I never rewatch that episode. I don’t see anything funny about it
I hate this show because of how Marie acted towards Debra, and how Ray just let it happen. I haven’t watched this show much, but I saw an episode where Debra broke down because she rarely ever got any private time or something, and she wanted to bleach/remove hair on her upper lip and someone saw it and she was humiliated about it. That poor woman married a man and his mother and it felt like she had no say in her own home.
To Peter Boyle and doris Roberts as frank and marie barone and the other actors and actresses who passed away my thoughts are with your family you may be gone but not forgotten still going strong after all these years later appreciate the memories and a good laugh one of TV best sitcoms ever real skills talents and efforts and punch lines are deeply appreciated even on everbody loves raymond great job people you should be proud keep the laughs coming appreciate you guys thanks !!!!! This moment here where Frank shines is right up there with the scene from the hospital episode where he defends Debra again after Ray was poking fun at his family about what went through their minds for 30 seconds when finds out the doctors were having trouble waking him up from surgery and Debra broke down and cried.
It would be called Every Trannie Loves Gaymond if it came out now. One Asian Mother , 2 Black kids, A white guy named Trevor who looks like the singer from Weezer, A very light skin Black lady married to a Jewish white man, a child who was adopted from Japan. Etc etc. because society doesn't realize shows like The Jefferson's already broke down barriers int he 1970's but modern white college girls with purple hair who sleep with 19 guys a week named Sarah think anything before them is toxic.

One of the most heartfelt scenes, Frank's love for Debra was unconditional. He took a bullet for her, because he can take it!

That was one of Frank’s nicest moments, I love it.
This was why I love Frank. He defended Debra far more than Ray did against Marie. Thanks for uploading.
You mean ray. Ray is her husband not Robert
@ you are right. My bad. I fixed it.
Which is pretty sad when you think about it. 😅
But where do you think Ray learned to treat his wife?

Hilarious analogy
2:52 Frank looked at Debra. He can see Debra had enough of criticizing, accusing and embarrassment. He took the blame for her.

Oh, Frank, come take a look.
What?
Your sons are hugging!
Want me to get the hose? 😂😂😂

4:00 I love how Ray and Robert just get out of the way, frightened. They know not to mess with their mom when she's super PO'ed.
Ray running into the TV trays in his haste to escape from Marie's warpath, is one of those little comedic details that made this show so great.
Frank took the blame but no one says Robert also helped by covering the canister by hugging Ray.
You can say whatever you want about frank. But he really liked Debra. And he knew he was going to get crap because he ate the ham

She was brilliant in every episode. Amazing actress!
I know she won for the PMS episode, but never knew her other episodes.

Robert: mommy, hi mommy at 0:04 LOL
Frank and debras relationship was so geniune he loved his daughter in law so much
frank standing like a terminator T-850 model at 2:46 LOL
The saddest thing is that I don't remember if Marie ever apologized to Debra for how she treated her this episode.
If Marie ever found out that secret, Debra would have 2 choices, divorce or fight to the end. That would be like Sparta and Persia it was inevitable.
The fact that Frank has to live with her makes it even worse
So special that is why I still love this show 💯💯💯💯💯🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Frank always had a soft spot for Debra. There were handful of scenes where he stood up for her.
Very great scene
that was actually kind of a nice moment
"I ate the backside of that ham" 😂😂😂
Marie really is just awful. I mean the the term monster in law should use her as a benchmark.
Ya I'm shocked no one had beat her yet with the stuff she did through the show
Keep saying to yourself, "Things are more important than loved ones. Things are more important than loved ones."

Frank's the man.
Im so glad that raymond is not doing a reboot b/e frank and marie were the heart of the show
i be honest, Debra looks so cute😊😊😊😊😊 4:13
Marie was horrible to Debra. If they ever do a sequel to this show, I hope Debra will be a good mother in law.
Frank was so lovable here.

Robert kiss Ray 😂😅
Frank's awesome old dude
Let her go. 🤣🤣.
This show should've been called Everybody Loves Frank. ❤❤❤
This is why Frank is better than Marie. Despite his flaws, he loved Debra as a daughter. Something Marie has never done.

Hi doris Roberts
Let’s be clear. No one loves Raymond. No one gives even half a shit about Raymond.
Debra's worst moment
Patricia Heaton...smokeshow
