I watched this show all the time when i was younger. and it wasn't until i started rewatching it as an adult that i realize how absolutely horrible Marie is.

Debra is an absolut psycho, but its not her, surrounded by weirdos, including Ray. The dynamic is so good.

Ray was my least favorite character on this show. Annoying, selfish, insecure man-child. So no, everyone didn't love Raymond.

The reality is; most women wouldn’t tolerate someone like Marie and would either kick her out or leave their husband. Frank was right, she can’t stand the fact that Raymond married Debra and she’s no longer priority. It’s a toxic relationship. Boundaries are important in any relationship.

Watching the children while you're on the phone: ignore them completely and take care of the conversation with the adult. Then let them have it when you're finished with the adult.

There should've been a storyline where Debra and Ray separate for a period of time. Debra and the kids could've stayed in the house while having Ray move BACK home with his mom and dad. It would've been fun to see his life devolve into complete shambles. Ray reduced to the loser man/baby being taken care of by his mommy, while Robert is finally out of the house and married to Amy. The role reversal would've been hilarious.

Debra should have married Robert. He was a better fit for her than Ray.

I can't believe that after all these years of watching this show, I haven't noticed how six iconic actors/actresses are in ONE scene. Debra's parents, Amy's parents and Ray's parents (their real name escapes me now). I love it

This obsession Ray has in needing to feel above Robert is ridiculous. He gives him an insincere congrats to him on his promotion & escalated evening to physically fight him, I did love the part though when Ray took off Robert’s shoe & then knew he immediately f*** up, Robert made him smell his foot😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 But seriously, Ray’s out of control in needing to feel above Robert and make sure he’s still Marie’s golden boy🤦🏼‍♂️

Debra’s anger stems from Ray and his mom. He was an idiot man child that never did anything to help Deb out around the house, and his mom not only coddled him, she criticized everything she did. He was a lousy husband and Marie was a terrible MIL.

One of TV best sitcoms ever to Peter Boyle and doris Roberts as frank and marie barone and the other actors and actresses who passed away my thoughts are with your family you may be gone but not forgotten still going strong after all these years later appreciate the memories and a good laugh great job people you should be proud way to go very impressed keep the laughs coming appreciate you guys !!!! People who don't like Debra haven't seen enough of the show. A lot of people think she's mad in every scene or something.
