Death Valley Overland Steele Pass with a Trailer: 3rd Gen Tacoma TRD Off Road

Dedecker Canyon is the section of the Steele Pass Road closes to Eureka Dune. If you are heading from Saline Valley to Eureka, it's all down hill and a little easier. If you're heading from Eureka to Saline, you have to climb two steps and a v notch that is challenging when going against gravity.

I was here about 10 years ago, coming from Eureka Dunes attempting to go towards Saline Valley. I have turned around not trusting my skills and my vehicle. All these years I was wondering if I did the right thing turning around, but looking at your video I think I did, at least for myself and my vehicle. Kudos to you guys and doing this even with a trailer.

I want to do this with my newly built Ford E3 50 4 x 4 van but I am scared. I think it might be too wide and crappy training circle
