The thing i love the most about Normal people is that THEY ACT LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE lolll it’s probably one of the most relatable books i’ve read in the past years.

I had to DNF The Cruel Prince about 20% in because her growing up experience was too much like my own in school, I got PTSD. Then the concept of a 17 year old girl being selected to be a royal spy was just not believable. But I love it for you! And I just adored "Piglet" that you introduced us to in a recent book haul video, so I'd love to hear your thoughts when you read it.
Personally I almost dnf cruel prince, but I’m so glad I didn’t! I had a hard time coming into the story and didn’t like the bullying but once I moved past the school part of the book I read it in a day. I loved it! As well as the other 2 books

I haven't finished the video but right of the bat, The Cruel Prince is one of the few fantasy books that hasn't left me feeling like the dumbest person ever. There was world-building and characters, but it was never too overwhelming. Also, the author (Holly Black) is also Pro-Palestine, which is always amazing to see!! 🤍🤍

I never hated nor will ever hate on a persons looks or size. You are thereby crossing the line. Yes I should be more aware of what I say yes I should think more before I say something but to hint at someone’s appearances or body image when you have no idea the struggles behind it is just low. You never know the consequences of your actions against body image which is a huge struggle for many.

If her being mean really bothered you it doesnt make sense to match the same energy back bc then you have no room to talk or even comment about it bc ur repeating the cycle. A NICE gentle comment wouldve come a long way if the behavior in the video really offended you, other wise your just coming off as a hatewatcher just jumping at the chance to go after her which is wrong.
