I wanted an sti and drove several. My dad then sent me a speed3 that was for sale. I drove it and bought it that day. I love my speed and its will put the same smile on your face a wrx would
The choice is a real struggle. I do have a Subaru Legacy and a Mazda Mx5 NB. I don't know if I should get a GTB/WRX or a Speed3/6 after my Legacy. Mazda and Subaru are my favorite companies!
@@leo-a-h-g if you can find a 6 buy it, they were only made for two years so they are really rare and youll have awd where as the 3 is fwd so there is more maintenance with a 6 but awd cars handle really good... Plus the 6 doesn't have the torque steer the 3 has, the 3 literally tries to rip the steering wheel out of your hand so hold on tight

Hatchbacks I think look nice: Any Golf models except for the wagon ones they look bad imo Mazda Speed 3 Hatchback Audi Hatchback Honda EG (Depends on the build) and Toyota Trueno AE86 (If you consider it as a hatchback corolla from the 80's) and that's it.

Id say you and a few other influenced me to get my 2012 Mazda 3 hatchy ^_^ i mean its got the skyactiv 2.0 but it fits my needs and its got the 6 speed manual. I love my little car.
I must say I was very excited to find this video considering I'm literally about to start building my 2013 Mazda Speed 3 that only has 40,000 miles on it.. But I couldn't even watch this video bro!!! it's so bouncy and movey and sparatic that it made my eyes hurt and made me dizzy, damn what a shame.

Rheyn Nz depends on what you want. i own an 07 speed so in a little biased. speeds are faster, and honestly way more of a riot to drive. torque steer out the ass and stock you can burn tires 1st-3rd gear. first gen speeds have problems with the VVT, while both gens have problems with bad suspension bearing, motor mounts, and turbos. STI’s of course are AWD but are heavier and slower than the speeds. they also have transmission issues, as well as head gaskets and some other things. both are great daily’s if you take care of them and both require tons of love and research but they’re both great platforms.
its funny cause honda geeks like myself will put $3000 3 piece wheels on a car thats barely worth that, and then you see these subaru and mazda and nissan guys put freaking 500$ wheels on a $15k car
