  • It looked like my K11 Nissan Micra was still running on the original Ignition system and with it being over 20 years old i thought it's probably time i changed some of the parts before they fail.
The engine is a CG13DE but it will be the same for a CG10DE.
So i changed the Distributor cap and rotor arm, i also plan on upgrading the HT leads in the near future.
The parts were bought from Euro car parts, if you just give them a call and give them your registration they will get the parts for you.
Anyway here's a detailed video of how i did it.

@@Momo2k121 maybe the internal circuit...It seems not available separately, so better to look around for a spiare distributor

Interesting video...do you know if the inner and outer distributor oil seals are available at Nissan dealers? Because my 1.0l is leaking a Little bit of oil around the distributor

It's a Gizfab brace, i have the full handling package which includes all the braces and adjustable panhard bar.
      I'd highly recommend it.

Sounds like the coil. Try getting a distributor from the scrap yard and giving that a try.
It's a common problem with these internal coil distributors, used to get it quite a lot with my Hondas as they have a similar setup
