I just purchased the same refrigerator from Costco and will be getting it next week, it’s the first time I purchased a refrigerator with a water dispenser. I have a question….I have always filled up my water bottles with filtered water from the machines you usually see outside of grocery stores, I am very picky with my drinking water! How does the water taste coming from this LG refrigerator? By the way, every appliance I have in my house is LG and I have been very pleased with the company and this is why I decided to splurge on this refrigerator. Thank you!
@tantalus I've heard of people complaining about the taste of the water coming from their LG refrigerator but we haven't had that issue (our tap water tastes good already so that probably helps). If the water tastes funny initially you may simply need to run a few more gallons through the system until it cleans out completely. I will say that we are extremely pleased with this LG refrigerator purchase from Costco.
Mind sharing which model that is? I've been looking at these and it seems they only come in counter depth with that version of Instaview with craft ice. Yours on the other hand looks like a standard depth and not a shallow.
Yes, that's correct. We're only getting about 3 per day of the craft ice but there's also a regular ice maker built into the door that we use if we run out of craft ice.
Are you guys worried about the failure rate of these products. LG lost a MAJOR class action lawsuit in 2020. Even if you get an extended warranty, what the point of all your food goes bad? LG is a funny company because they are new to appliances. I mean they have not been around like GE. Why didn't your wife buy the GE Profile with very similar features? The only difference was that the GE does not have the second ice maker, which from what I understand, the ice makers are what cause all the problems.
@Mr Jimmy The model of our refrigerator is LRMVS3006S which is the newer model beginning in 2020. The class action lawsuit is for refrigerators manufactured between Jan. 1, 2014, and Dec. 31, 2017. I will admit that LG is newer to the appliance market but so far we haven't had any issues with ours (not saying that it won't happen). We do love GE and we did purchase a new GE chest freezer that's due to arrive in August.
LG is not a new brand. They’ve been making stuff since the 60s. Refrigerators are their only shortcomings. Their laundry units easily outclass any other brand even GE
Thank you for the video
I just got the same one
Today! I love it!

Are you all still happy with the fridge? I have been reading so many negative reviews due to compressor and ice maker issues.
Yes! Maybe we just got lucky with ours but we haven't had any issues at all with our LG fridge.

Hi! Can I ask what the model number is? Love the video! Thank you!
@Bethany Campbell sorry for the late reply. We just returned from a long road trip. The model of our refrigerator is LRMVS3006S.

Some people say its a bad idea but I've never had a problem storing it there. Thanks for the comment!

Hello J. Patrick Lindor, the model of our LG refrigerator is LRMVS3006S. We bought it from Costco and its a full sized model.
There are reviews saying that this fridge can only make 3 of the craft ice spheres per day. Is that about right?
Yes, that's correct. We're only getting about 3 per day of the craft ice but there's also a regular ice maker built into the door that we use if we run out of craft ice.
Thank you so much. We enjoy making videos and it's nice when others enjoy them as well. Bless you and your family as well!
3 must be the magic number because our LG compressor died after exactly 3 years. Great products that these heaps of garbage are
That is NOT correct , I have this fridge also and I make 6 craft ice balls at a time
I’m fil-am also but I cannot afford this fridge
lol at your mail ordered bride so awkward
