The finish on the plate before polishing is very good so any fine polish, T-cut or Farecla G3 would have produced the same or better results lets see it on heavily oxidised motorcycle parts.
Perfect! Just got my camper back from the body shop and will be polishing the chrome finish. I’ll try your idea here. Wish me luck.
really cool result! I didn't know it's possible to do it this way!
Thank you very much, I'm happy that you enjoyed
You’re beautiful 😻!
Would this work on a vintage airstream camper?
Looks really good man, I have a question maybe you can help me with,I’m a tow operator we try to wash our trucks two -three times a week, the flatbed I drive is an aluminum bed and the side rails are chrome,my question is why do the side rails look cloudy from a certain angle but, another angle looks like a mirror, and how could I get the chrome from looking all cloudy, oh forgot to mention I have polished and buffed but used mothers, any way you can help please get back to me thank you
Wonder if this would work on my 2015 f150 drive shaft
Can we get the same result on a aluminium bike? (Alloy)
Good one that
Any idea how long the mirror finish on the aluminum sheet will remain after being exposed to sun and rain?
Any idea what type of aluminum that was?
What's the heat rating on that sealant? Awesome videos man
Thank you! Comments like this motivate me to continue creating videos. I'm not exactly sure on the heat rating but it worked fine on 100 degree days on freshly sanded metal that was quite toasty.
Hihi, the few of your video on Aluminium to mirror, all the link to the products you are selling are shown as out of stock, which meant you wont get the commission for recommending their products. Just FYI.
Fantastic! What is the polish you are using?
I'm using the Blingmaster Aluminator polish
The music you used is the same as the one that Hardware Unboxed uses in its intro.
Where available in SA remember we are 10 years behind
Would this technique work on Brushed aluminum?
No !
2:18 ... so nobody noticed the spider?
you should try to "polish" an apple watch like this ;)
With brushed aluminum, do i need yo sand it first? Like sith 3000 / 5000 grit? Or.
Should be fine, but it will look nicer and if you sand first.
Mookz Here! I bought 4000 grit down to 300. Regretted it. Used California Purple Polish instead but think I should have sourced factory polished sheets. Bought 10 sheets of 8’ x 4’ to build from ‘scratch’ my “Airstream Basecamp “ and did so without rivets and hoped for perfect mirror finish. Caught folks eye on my 4,000 km test run (Australia) but it’s dull again. Gotta be a way. To date only mirror finish is ultra high speed which buckles sheet aluminium.
@@peternicholsonu6090 That's oxidation; the sealant should at least slow it down.
WHERE DO U GET THAT STUFF AT AND HOW MUCH
Hello Gary, here is the links to the polish and sealant I used.

I'm sorry to hear that 😔. You may need to contact them directly
I watched a different video using several grades of sand paper to complete the process. Totally ruined the aluminum plate. Wish I would have tried this first.
What is the exact metal that you ordered?
3003 grade aluminum
How ridiculous u can clearly see the aluminium is already really shiny before you even started joker
