This was interesting to me because I had never heard of the cutting machine. Thank you for the demonstration.
Thanks for watching!
Thank you!❤
I see these sometimes on eBay, but I have never seen one in real life, so this was nice to see how it works and to make sure it has all the pieces if I ever purchase one!🥰
Glad you liked it!!
i found one of these months ago, lost it in my room, and am just now cleaning and found it, mines a Model C, but works in almost the same way, i was lucky to even have the clip that goes between the blades, tested it on an old shirt and it worked perfectly
Very nice!
Yes,. I think the cutting mechanism is the same, but it sits flat on table..no clamp
I started with a vintage Fraser cutter, then saved up for a Beeline/Townsend😊 I'm terrible with nuts, bolts and screws. 😅
I haven't seen the Fraser cutters. Are they similar to the Rigby?
Thanks for posting this. For new rug hookers, and old Rigby or Fraser/Bliss cutters are a less expensive way to get your own cutter., however, Rigby blades are almost unavailable now, and I just noticed that the Fraser website is no longer active? It does look like they still have an active Facebook page though?

Does the model B work in a similar way as the one you demonstrated? Also, can it be used on fabric other that wool?
Yes, the model B works in the same way except it doesn't have a way to change the blades (that we could figure out anyway)
