Your son did a awesome job on the handles ! You and your kids kids should be able to use that in the garden for many years to come . Thank you for sharing and have a great weekend !
I remember those years with my kids. These are the best days of your life enjoy. Great job kids. You'll are making your dad very proud of you. I am without a doubt sure you will make it in this life. Best wishes to all of your family. God bless.
CJ and PT have a bright YT future ahead of them. And, your adorable blond baby girl looks exactly like Rachel. Exactly. Same look of determination on her face as she tries to keep up with Daddy. Precious. ~ Lisa
So…what are CJ and co. making or creating with the hand operated forge and all of that metal? Are those old plow parts, or is the goal to forge new plow parts from all of that material? Whatever the case, I hope they’ll be some videos operating the forge.
After so many years of your videos where the rest of the family was seldom if ever seen, it is so nice that today they are appearing in and even starring in more Good videos! I love, love, love big families and appreciate so much that you have not over-exploited your children to get views, but have brought them up to where they are now, so competent and engaging in their own rights. You and your wife and family are a blessing and inspiration. God bless. Kimberly Ann Blevins, Owner-Operator, Florida Forest Gardens, LLC. (P.S. I joined your channel, the first time I have done so with any channel).
All hail "CJ the Good" !!! I thought for sure he was going to say : "I was going to use washers on both handles to mount them, but my Dad is cheap. " Nope, just forgot them, lol. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Great job kiddo, you be rockin it fo sho, peace.
Your kids are hilarious. These videos are great. With this cold weather the mice are trying get food and stay warm, Gerald will be happy this winter lol 😂
I chainsaw mill lumber and have some really nice black locus that makes great handles for planet jr/hoss wheel hoes. Just let me know if you need any. Locus is particularly good for uv/rain/rot and makes an amazing finish when sealed with linseed oil
When I see David and esp his kids, I have hope for the future. I bet his son is like a demigod among kids who only know how to operate computer mice and joysticks.
Gerald can get away..I enjoyed your video..i have grandkids. I hope they're going to be good at doing stuff like you're doing when they get a little older and what a great video Perfect
CJ, you should start your own channel geared to people your age. Many kids don't understand just how much they can do.. Not necessarily gardening things.. When I was your age, we build dams on the creek to have a 3 foot deep swimming hole in the summers.. The dam collapsed within a couple of days, but we enjoyed it as long as it lasted and then we built another one... We dug a cave in the side of a clay bank... LOTS of things you do would be interesting to other kids.
Great vid. I love when kids are into working with tools and using their heads to figure out how to do things. Also I totally would have caught that mouse at that age too, lol. I have a Hoss double wheel hoe that as I understand it, is a Planet Jr. clone. All of the Hoss attachments supposedly work with the original Planet Jr hoes. If you were so inclined you probably could get their conversion kit and plows and make yours into a double wheel hoe and then you can hill up veggies like nobody’s business.
David, the one thing that has always confounded me, not sure if it my OCD, ADHD or some other alphabet soup ailment is... Walking on freshly cultivated and weeded soil. Weeds will grow back faster after compaction, right? Wonder why they never made a pull version so that it leave the cultivated soil light and fluffy? Probably just a "Me" problem. Peace.
Yes, good thought. The pressed-in soil has capillary action, which brings up water and germinates weed seeds. I wonder what a human powered dragging design would look like. Interesting...
@@davidthegood It would look odd because it is out of the current accepted paradigm. I alway hand cultivate walking backwards so I do not leave footprints. I suppose gardening in heaven will be better, no weeds and IF we cultivate we will float above the soil.
Im 61 yrs and have a little shoulder issues, but not totally weak, tell me which hoe to get for weeding, ok?? I see hoss products that look good but need a trained guy to tell me. Thx
I was expecting the clip after the credits to be Rachel sweeping with an extremely short broom.

I've been trying to keep up with David for years. Still falling behind.
@@rachelthegood4485 Well then, at least I'm in good company. Praying for a healthy baby... soon! ~ Lisa

Oh my goodness, this was so great. You must be so proud of your son. You are definitely doing something right.
Excellent job CJ!

Man, that is premium stuff. I never got a chance to work with locust. How far away are you?
where/are/you shipping handles from?dk
Fantastic handle job. Wish I could do it. Smart son, and the mouse was to die for.
CJ reminds me a little of your brother. He did a fantastic job!!!!
He is quite similar.
Wow, what a great video, I love the humor about the missing washers lol.
Your kids are awesome!
Mine always looked for ways to get out of helping.
When I see David and esp his kids, I have hope for the future. I bet his son is like a demigod among kids who only know how to operate computer mice and joysticks.
Dang! He’s a PRO!
I like their style
What an amazing young man your son is!😇

He should totally start his own channel. If you recommend it, we would totally subscribe, wouldn’t we?
Impressive kid. Youre a lucky fella 🖖👽👍
Awesome kids, Dave. They take after you.
Well done! Love the videos with the kids. :)

He has an engaging personality.
im super into the old hand tools thanks to you, hand tools is how the good lord intended us to work our soil
This kid cracks me up Lol 😆 🤣 😂
Good job young man 👍
Getting it done, nice.
Thumbs up and green! 👍
He is going places, i wonder how many take it took to make it perfect and confident speech.
Thanks for the tutorial boss!
"None of the people he killed are alive anymore."😂😂😂😂😂
I need a set of those handles. You do woodworking very well. Dennis
Thank you
I was wondering if those missing washers were going to be a problem...I'm so sorry!
TFS
Great tool and great video! Do us a favor and put some eye pro on with your ear muffs 😎 best regards Navy RN
I remind them... but was not there
amazin
Have your bolt head outward so that the bolt can't snage and hurt any things a the nut don't get mishaped or dinged.
Nice young helper. Thanks
Something to be said for a tool that you can just pick up and use. It does not weigh a ton or need fuel or oil changed or need to be plug in.
Not sure I could do this here in central Alabama. My soil is hard red clay!

I watched handle cutout yesterday.i thot it made with 2X4. How is 3/4 handle holding up.
I love the video, good job Good clan! I am curious where did you purchase the wheel hoe from? 😀😀😀
This one I got on ebay.
I want to put a little wood glue on that dowl
He did after the vid.
Does your son realize how much he looks like his Uncle Flannel? 🤠
Safety Sam says eyepro.
Yeah, I know. I told him when I saw the footage.
A chip off the old block.
Oooh
Hey, relax dad, the kids have got it handled! You will have to excuse the "dad"pun.

David shaved and looked a lot younger in recent videos
I haven't watched in a while (sorry) but are you back in the States now or still on some far away tropical paradise?
Great video, BTW.
Hi Scott. Welcome back. We are in Lower Alabama.
Chip off the old block. Gerald doesn't seem to think he's funny though.
Why won't anyone think of the mycorrhizal networks
Destroying entire cultures!
Im 61 yrs and have a little shoulder issues, but not totally weak, tell me which hoe to get for weeding, ok?? I see hoss products that look good but need a trained guy to tell me. Thx
The hoss single-wheel is pretty easy to use. The double wheel takes a little more effort.
Hello
Very cool. Who needs Chinese products when you can raise your own Mexicans? 😂
STOP IT.. IS GERALD OK..
😂
Pass on the kids. Rather not bring anyone new into the world. Plus, too much fun just being us by ourselves
I don't understand, but glad you're here anyhow.
