This is likely to be my next step. I’ve got a new fuel pressure regulator - which I’ll fit as I’ve got. But already looking for a new/refurbished loom.
@@Beechams1042 Yes, the ignition wiring plugs into the main engine harness. But it's much smaller and last I checked was available new from MB at a reasonable price
Your spark plug wires are much longer than the Bosch wires I got for my car. I was switching them around trying to find the right combination so they'd fit well. I would have liked to have routed them slightly differently, but didn't have the length to do so.
hi you have to check the engine wiring, on these the insulating sheath of the cables was biodegradable and crumbled giving these problems

in addition to the engine wiring on m111 up to 96, the coil wiring and the throttle body must be rewired
Will this be additional wiring to what’s on the loom?
