Worse, it was filmed in the winter when all the beautiful green tree leaves are gone and the gray overcast clouds of winter make this appear much worse than it really is. All that was missing was the somber funeral music! Virtually every city has a run down area and to feature this in a video as if the entire city is like that is very deceptive. Going down the same street *three times* to make it look like the run down area is bigger than it actually is, again is deceptive. I wonder why the very nice, modern semi-pro baseball stadium only a few blocks away was not shown in the video, or the renovated train and bus stations next to it, or the new, modern, multi-million dollar student housing buildings, the new library, the renovated downtown area, the new highways and bridges, the many nice parks, the beautiful rivers, the rolling green hills, the golf courses, swimming pools, tennis courts, freshly renovated schools, etc? Three thumbs down for this video.

Or some areas in Chenango county. Quite a few of the homes that were missing in this video I did the air monitoring when they were torn down. There is also the area around the rail road tracks on the other side of the river and the worst is behind the Price Chopper. We had an asbestos work area and a guy came in, we were just taking a break. We came back and a hole was cut in the plastic sheeting ceiling and one ceiling tile removed. Guess he wanted his stash.
Great video!
the way i recognize these places fr
Wow crazy I was out there in the early 2000s spent most my time chilling with the people from the college I guess because alot of us was from the real ny I wouldn't say it was bad just more like a run down town with cheap ass rent well when I was out there I wonder if that barbershop in vestal or Johnson city is still open if so shout out to new york styles rico
Reminds me of Pittsfield mass
Ok so it looks crappy in winter but on google earth it looks green and totally clean. Like night and day, I would live there.
nobody is outside at all in binghamton . where are all the people ?
Judging by the BROWN SNOW its too cold....and they value themselves.
Working, many decent jobs there..
Just remember these buildings are owned by landlords and property management companies who do not maintain their properties. The landlord and property management companies can blame the tenants all they want, but at the end of the day it is the owners who are 100% responsible.
A Depressing sight. Let’s see how many economic migrants are willing to live in Binghamton.
# 3 eye cand knot sir & myself. mean eye cannot stand by myself i care knot about my brains
Did I see North Street in this video?
Binghamton has cleaner water then Endicott and endwell, doing that in Endicott would have a little more activity. Theres alot of interesting self contracter built houses that are bug infested. depending on where or what time of day near the avenue area, there's more boarded up places and I have personally been stabbed three times here in Endicott in a home that's now boarded up by two crips in march 2022 and I never got justice bc Endicott police are corrupted
They're not corrupt, Binghamton and Endicott are just some of the poorest communities in upstate, NY. Sometimes it seems that Endicott, NY has nearly ran out of money considering how run down it is now.
Reminds me of my city, Youngstown Ohio. 😢
This looks like it once was a nice neighborhood long ago. Where are the schools and the business district. What is the average income?
Not sure why he did not go to the upper East side, but Calvin Coolidge, East Middle (used to be North high school) and in the heart of Bing is Old Central now High...That was a terrible idea to get rid of North.....It is all very depressing, we just were there for a visit, and even in Endwell where we used to live looks not as nice. Business area is where Central High School is or was....Income is lower than average.
Binghamton and Endicott are some if the poorest communities in upstate, NY. Over 25% of residents in Endicott are below the poverty line now.
@@franimal007 North has been closed since 1982. Consolidated with Central in 1983, becoming Binghamton High School.
You stayed on the Northside for the whole video and then labeled it Binghamton NY 😂.
Is that not in in Binghamton?
There’s other sides of town in other videos on my page
Let's go Binghamton I'm excited too move back too my old house in excited
I was born on the east side and lived there until I was 5 or 6. Its wasn't THAT bad back then but now you can't hardly go anywhere without hearing shots or sirens.
thats EVERY city. LOL omg smh
@@djscripsetzer280but bing is literally just so dirty. Most cities have like nice lights or nice people but everyone acts and is dirty
I was in Recreation Park today AND Otsiningo Park. They are gorgeous! Are you talking about Edwards street?. then gather some friends, chip in your beer money, get some garbage bags and pick stuff up. Its only dirty if you LET it be dirty. That's what Mayor Kraham did. He got some donated donuts and said, "come to the south side and lets pick up garbage" and we all did. Binghamton is NOT dirty. Binghamton is Blessed. @@badsniper7889
Binghamton is shit, I've been here too often. It makes zero sense why anybody would relocate here, unless you want your vehicle broken into. It's like Bridgeport CT, but at least Bridgeport is near the beaches. Seriously, fuck Binghamton.
Why did you go on the west end 🤣🤣🤣 mainstreet where you have collage kids wonders addicts all mix together
In the other video
focus on Binghamton's good parts. Blackstone, Upper Helen, Grand Blvd. Upper Matthews , Crary, Bennett, etc etc
The west side is not super either....The best thing the West side has to offer is, The Beef.
@@franimal007 that building on the corner of munsell and liberty is gorgeous now. All brand new

Really stupid comment.

Most definitely not a fair representation of the City of Binghamton. Mostly the North Side and run down areas. Shame....
I BE PIST i been that street 2 X
Boces during Woodstock Sheryl in Binghamton
This video is deceptive and inaccurate. This video paints a very false picture. The two to three blocks shown in this video are the most rundown areas of the city. This is not representative of Binghamton at all.
There’s a few more Binghamton videos on my page in other areas
