I've been watching this video for years. I flew EVA 4x IAH-MNL from 2017-2019 and it's my favorite airline. It keeps me motivated while I await my move to the Phils.....I started in 2016 now I have 420 days to go. Time goes by fast lol

I had worst main courses in Cathay's first class and their reputation is much higher. Although based on reports only 2 or 3 years ago, EVA's weakness was its catering.
I am looking forward to fly on EVA the Royal Laurel (1st time) on TPE-SIN sit in 9 row window) on two months after the night flight from SEA (Eco class) On way back in mid-January sit on 6 row (window) Royal Laurel before night flight back to SEA (Eco class). Great video and delicious foods. Nice seat with two windows.

They are a safe and nice airline . I love the moving map asp when showing parts of china Japan and Korea they fly over or near. Thank you. They used to fly a 763er to Australia
Much prefer these videos just showing me the product (service, food and space design that's all) instead of just a bunch of vloggers showing off, stuffing their faces, over eating, and about to take a break on the luxury toilet! This is why we travelers look at reviews on video or trip advisor -- for the product!! (Perhaps the vloggers are looking for dates. Who knows?!) Thank you for sharing.

I flew EVA several times in the past, in premium economy on the 747s. The food was so bad, truly awful. I finally figured out to order Kosher meals, they were very nice. This is a whole new ball game and the food looks excellent. Great overview of the newer EVA product. BTW, Turkish Airlines does provide a quilted full bed cover in business class.

Sitting is the Eva lounge at JFK now, for flight JFK to TPE. Not a good experience at all. Bad food, dirty tables, and so hit in here that it is melting my face off. Really wish they had workstations like other lounges and hot food options other than instant ramen.
their red-eye flights should be using Air France lounge (at least when I took it last year), which is wayyyy better than how Alitalia looks like from your report. Wonder why they don't just go use the Lufthansa one, both star alliance members...
With the exception of no caviar, everything else is on par with a first class meal. I also flew EVA Business class in 2015 on TPE-LAX route and I don't recall EVA pushing out a cheese/fruit cart during meal service. Could it be JFK route gets preferential treatment over LAX? Even the appetizer here looks much better than our LAX flight. Hmm, something tells me the choice and selection differs by route, even if they are U.S. routes. This JFK meal is the best I've seen on any EVA flight.
Dude if you have a chance to fly with EVA again, don't miss their Hello Kitty themed jet! Everything is featured with Hello Kitty. Utensils, uniform of the crew, food even the evergreen special lol (It was kind of funny when I used the toilet paper and saw hello kitty's face on it haha) I'm not a big fan of Hello Kitty but I find it pretty cool to have such an unique experience. btw, I really like your channel. =) The description is really detailed.
I set it to Aperture priority and open it up to f2.8 to 4 usually depending on how much light I get. Apparently though I read I should set it to focus priority and manual ISO.
Ok but how about the lens is it on auto or manual focus? I cant hear any motor when you focus so i assume your using manual focus anyways your video is always of good quality and your presentation is the best. Ive never used my dslr for video cause its heavy and lacks zoom power but seeing this having the same lens ill think ill be learning too, downside is i have failing eyesight and i have a hard time using manual focus, autofocus isnt also an option cause its slow and motor is noisy.
wow. they serve Krug Grande Cuvee which is normally served in First Class. Too bad their champagne selection is only on rotation and depends on route. One time they also served Krug Rose.
You go no wrong with EVA. I'm taking EVA to Malaysia next month. Not that crazy about their current boarding / farewell music. I still like the old one.

Yeap I did. Its not really "free" since its in the cost of the ticket, but you can eat and drink to your hearts content. If you use points then yeah since you are paying only 6USD in taxes and fees

Rob Case Errr , it’s a video about a flight , many people , myself included , think that the view is a significant part of the experience ; I find this an excellent overall balance of reporting the level of service and sharing the flight.
Yeah,the foreign airlines like Emirates, Singapore, China Air and Eva business class seats are better than the American airlines. American airlines seats are crampy and shitty. Why can't the American airlines be like them?

China Airlines has notoriously bad safety, but great service. Air China has acceptable (but not great) safety but crap service. Rather cowardly that you refer to China Airlines as TAIPEI. Taiwan is a country mate - get used to it!
China air has a 7/7 safety rating which is pretty good considering how old their fleet was, they have done a lot of upgrades in recent years. I've never had a flight delay unlike most US airlines and always great service.(The food here is among the best I've seen for business class) Looking forward to my next trip now.
How many accidents has China Airlines had? China Airlines has notoriously bad maintenance - that's probably why the tail fell off mid-flight over Penghu and their 737 burnt to the ground in Okinawa. Who cares about flight delays or service when safety is compromised? I'd rather get to my destination safely.

Mattress covers seem very rare in business, I think AA has started using them on their Hong Kong flights but I think only JAL uses them regularly

EVA offers a day flight. I believe it is around a noon time departure similar to Korean Air or ANA

FLIGHT EXAMINOR the lounge is the alitalia lounge. I'm hoping next time I can fly EVA from Taipei too

Laurel laurel class is equivalent of biz class. Eco= eco ; elite class= pre eco ; pre laurel or Royal laurel= biz
