You can enter bullet time right after jumping off a Lynel's back and shoot the back of its head, so you don't need to use a Puffshroom to stay hidden.
You can even get headshots for double damage if you aim your shots right.

evil spirit armor which you get from completing labyrinths also give you this set bonus with 3 level stealth. but their defence is low.

i originally used the evil spirit armor, but chose to use the radiant because of the low defense that can't be upgraded.

You should use pristine royal guard claymore to save puffshrooms. Silver lynel dies with 6 hits this way.

Can I use barbarian armor which adds an attack boost or do i have to use the radiant armor?

The radiant armored gives you a boost when using a bone weapon. So you combine easting the attack up recipe with the addition of the armor bonus. Having the barbarian armor won't stack with the recipe. Check out the video I posted this morning.

Funny! Actually in a recent video I shot an ancient arrow at the Lynel and it went right through it. I had to do it again 🤣🤣
