I read that the way to test power-bank battery capacity is to discharge it completely, then run the charge through the Klein ET920 to get a total mAh charge. It seemed like in your video that you did it backwards, using the battery bank to charge a device until it was drained to get the mAh capacity. Great demonstration on the mode button, I wish they just labeled it Memory instead.
to calculate the charging efficiency or conversion rate, I do this, watch this video ruclips.net/video/PwRunhVvIvQ/видео.html please like and sub, thanks
I hear that this tool has issues - like USBC does not work. I am looking to see if it has overvoltage/current protection. I have had a laptop destroy two NVME/m.2 enclosures (the NVMe still works - just the enclosure's controller started smoking). Tools like this could be a device saver, if it has the over-voltage/current protection feature.
Is it pronounced KLEN? or CLINE? BTW thanks for sharing this video. I testing USB's in my TESLA and there are so many uses to own this tool. Tons of cheaper ones on Amazon. But are they giving accurate readings? Have you tried other testers before the KLEIN 920? I'm wonderin if any of those cheaper models are actually accurate.
clien :D Sorry English is not my native language. Still learning daily, please smash the like and subscribe :D I don't have other Klein USB testers. I have their multimeter. I prefer the Power-Z USB-C meter and use it more often in my charging tests related videos.
Best way I can think to pronounce their name... Klein would be like "climb" as in "climb the ladder" or "climb to the top of the mountain" (without the b on the end of course :)
@@Keeping-It-Real-55 "tamotto"!?!?! Great, now you've put an ear-worm in my head referring to an old Motorola commercial... "Hello tam-MOTTO" LOL but i get what yer sayin' ;)
@@ToolsElectroDIY It is pronounced the same way " Calvin Klein " is pronounced. Part of the confusion is that the word "klein" is not english, it is German in origin. That is why the pronunciation of klein does not follow english pronunciation rules. In english when two vowels go walking the first does the talking (the way you pronounced it), but in German the second does the talking.

Love the memory feature, but the lack of crossover (even a mechanical switch) is a bummer. I also wish they did the math for you to calculate watts.
Good point! My thoughts exactly
Nice review, I'll be sure to check this out
enjoy!
If there is a short in the USB port, will it indicate an error?
Good question I don’t know. And don’t wanna find out lol

Klein is pronounced “Kline.” Where does the pronunciation “Klen” come from?
Thanks for the English lesson!
