1966 VW Beetle Restoration: Heater Channels Pt. 2

This video I finish installing the driver's side heater channel in my 1966 Volkswagen Beetle. Of course I end up running out of gas in the middle of the repair! Getting closer and closer to paint!

Nice work!! I have to do this job next winter to my 65. For the big gaps I use the coat hanger trick. Sometimes fold it up a couple times then jam it into the gap and hit it with the welder. A real welder might be mad at this comment 😅

Me too. Got sidelined from cancer repair on this thing for a little cancer repair on myself. Put me out of the game for a year. Will be back to it here real soon. Thanks!
