The biggest thing I noticed it the attention you get from ordinary people who are not bikers when out on it,
people look up and smile when they see it go past, and I get people coming up to me in car parks wanting to talk about the bike and the way it looks.
Ordinary People detest the mopeds bombing around the streets, they distrust huge suoerbikes,
but there is something about a modern classic design that makes them smile.
I just traded in my T120 for a brand new Scrambler 900 and I could not be happier with it! Goes in for its 600-mile service tomorrow. I love it for all the reasons you mention. And I don't find the tailpipe heat all that bad. Wonder if it's true that they've improved that quite a bit on the latest models... Cat moved to the back is probably why.
Great channel. Subbed.
Thanks glad you enjoyed the video 👍 Enjoy your new Scrambler 🍻
I’m between t100 and scrambler 900. Why you prefer scrambler over bonneville?
Biggest selling classic bike today, yet I've never seen one or a Triumph bobber in my county, or in fact anywhere on my travels. I've seen them here on Yt and in the groups on Fb, but never, ever in the flesh.
Hopefully one day you will see one in the flesh 🤞

Is it better than my Tiger Sport 660 because I love the looks
That all depends what on what your after? I’d suggest test riding one 😉👍
I own a 2023 900 scrambler and even in our Aussie summers the heat from the exhaust is not a problem 😊
Thats good to hear. Im considering one. Im in Melbourne.
Had mine a year now and the exhaust is not a problem,
In the winter I actually enjoyed the heat from the exhaust when sitting a traffic lights,
In the summer all the time you are moving to don’t notice the heat from the pipes.
The only time it became uncomfortable was on the hottest of days of the year when stuck in traffic in the city.
[doing 20MPH for 100yards at a time between traffic lights] but even then it was the general heat from the engine itself rising up that made it uncomfortable.
But I did find myself leaning the bike over to the right when stationary at the lights to get my leg off of the pipe.
I have come back to bikes after a 40 year break, and for me this was the perfect bike to get me back onto 2 wheels again.
Easy to ride, easy to control, agile through town, fun in the twisties, but still enough power to keep up with my mates for quick bomb up the motorway.
Just like you say one of the best things is to cruise on a country road then open the throttle and feel the instant torque kick in along with the grunt sound from the exhaust.
went to look at the 400s for my wife ... signed the papers and left with the scram 900 😂
she's got 1k miles on it already !
Awesome I hope you both have loads of fun 👍🍻
I have a 2022 Street Scrambler and absolutely love it. I removed my catalytic converter and that made a tremendous difference with the amount of heat coming off the exhaust. Also gave me a bit more power on the low end as well as made the bike sound just a bit better. It's an easy mod and the removal of the catalytic converter cannot be detected by a visual inspection.
Great advice thanks 👍
I'm looking at getting rid of the cat on my 2019, I ride a lot in London and there you do notice the heat from the exhaust.
Who did you go to for the cat delete pipe?
Love my 2022 for all the reasons you state. I don’t personally find a problem with the high level exhausts; yes they get warm, but not hot - must be my bandy legs 🤠
My doubt is , will the person sitting at the back burn his legs?
My wife has not burnt her leg yet 😉
I’ve put 35,000 miles on mine in 2 years, serviced regularly with no major issues. I tour on it, multi-state travel here in the USA.
It draws attention wherever I go, I’m approached all the time.
Can’t beat owners reviews! Ace video I’m just in the process of selling our Tenere for one for the exact reasons mentioned when dad and I sat on one our legs sit on the silver heat shield, I was reading online that there’s some alternative shields for the cat section.
Thanks glad you enjoyed the video! I hope you love the Scrambler when you get it! If you find a heat shield that works well it would be great if you could drop us an email or a message on Facebook with which one you found! Cheers, all the best Alan
i have the 2017 version of this bike .I wonder if the lower HP is the reason I have never found the muffeler hot on my leg even in very hot summer riding ..Now the fan comming on in town traffic is steamy for sure .. I got mine as a left over in 2018 and have 19k on the clock ..I have loved every minute .I wish the tank range was a little longer and I would like a little better suspension but the joy meter is at 10 most of the time and after a lifetime of owning bikes I am hard pressed to think of one I have enjoyed more ... All the best from New England ..yours Guy
It was a good review until that suck-ass music cut in just before the 4:00 minute mark. Had to bail-out when that crap started. Jeeze H H c'mon man.
Yup bought mine at Easter, stealth orange
Nice and great colour 👍🍻
I do like these bikes, rode one 3 years ago as bought Ducati scrambler nightshift instead. The main issue for me is how to carry a pillion and panniers. It just can’t .
good video from France :)
@@briouck1964 thanks 👍🍻
I'd love one but that exhaust would melt much needed waterproofs here in Scotland
I've loved this bike ever since I saw the one Chris Pratt rode in Jurassic World lol, just an absolutely beautiful bike! I'm a daily rider and commute on a Harley Lowrider ST, I'm looking to buy this bike to add to my stable. Want something that still has that beautiful retro styling, and can handle some bad weather too
There's no such thing as black chrome, actually. That color on the cases is just cheap paint.
Great review HH. Awesome bike and superb even better riding footage. I think may be a little envious....laters dude
Cheers buddy roll on the Patreon meet 🍻⛺️
@@HelmetHead cannot wait, not long now.
Yep, I test rode one of these, as a loaner, for a day & overnight while my new 2024 Triumph Scrambler 1200xe was getting some warranty work done.
I found the Scrambler 900 to be a very capable bike, and I rode it hard. It’s a bit small for me personally, but, to be honest, the 1200 is maybe slightly too big for me. Still and all, I appreciate all the great Triumph models there at my local dealership. I’m thinking my next bike will be the Triumph Tiger 900. You always have to keep your eye out for the next bike you fall in love with.
Happy Trails!
Awesome comment thanks dude 👍
80 torques from 2019 onward models
Another cracking and insightful review.
Beautiful 🤩 ❤you can’t help but love a scrambler glad you love yours 😎🤘❤️
Cheers mate 🍻
Great review, was waiting for that.
Sat on a couple at the dealers whilst my mate was test riding a Trident 660 but couldn’t touch the floor.
Found out they do a lower version but not one at hand to try. 🤷🏻♂️
Thanks 🤩 Hopefully you will find a lower seat version to test 👍
Always liked the look of the Scrambler great review.
Thanks mate 👍🍺
Great comments about the bike mate I’ve had my 2024 custom scrambler since March not rode it yet 🥴👍
Overpriced for something like this. Not worth paying only for the looks
Yes yes, I'd like one 🎉
Yes yes buy one 🤩🔥👍
any recommendations for a windscreen or partial fairing to cut down on the exposure?
For Info...
Yours is the 59hp model.
Not felt this hot heat your on about
After the mileage covered a couple of weeks ago, You should be used to riding with your legs apart by now!? 😂😉.
Lovely little review mate. I really like the new 900 scrambler in yellow too, especially as it matches my 765RS. Might take one out soon as I’ve never ridden one. You never did ride the 400 after all. There’s always next time…
We need to swipe bikes for a review 😉🍻
@@HelmetHead any time!! 😁👍😎🍻. Following with you on the bonneville Black, def couldn’t keep up above 90 odd on the autobahn. You were gone! The little 400X can’t compete with 95+ 😂
So did you consider any others within triumph range, speed twin or bonnie 900s
I’ve reviewed many others over the years maybe take a look back through the channel’s history. You might enjoy some of the other reviews 👍
Sold me :)
That's 54hp
Why buy this if Tiger GT Pro can give you almost 100 hp?
It’s frustrating riding these days or just driving come to that. Speed limits everywhere mean you could have 200hp but only be able to use a fraction of it before losing your licence. These low hp, high torque bikes seem to have the best of both worlds, that pull from low speeds to let you overtake and the character and charm that the new line of retro bikes provides. There’s something for everyone nowadays.
After riding the complete bmw portfolio, coming from a gsa 1250, I bought this scrambler and I am the happiest for commuting 365/365 135km 😅 Just a matter of simplicity, back to the roots
