Now, if Triumph could fit the 1200 headlight to the Scrambler 900, that would be great. It's the ONLY one now without an LED headlight. Even the new 400's have one!
The 2022 XC has 320mm front discs with Brembo M50 calipers. This new 2024 X has smaller 310mm with Nissin calipers. WHY ? The 2022 XC has a TFT display with full instrument display that offers all the information you could possibly want. This new 2024 X has a TFT display but with limited information. WHY ? Why go backwards with the quality? Why ? Not thinking of customers, that’s for sure. It’s that bottom line they think of and we always pay with less quality.
exhaust was infamous for poor heat shielding and in subtropical climates, tropical climates, desert climates and places where summer heat crosses 40*C, it was too hot. what do we do about that?
@@JohnDavidLenisCardona i understand. and one can always do careful trip planning and even modifications to make it work. but from experience in India (sub tropical climate) + experience of my friends even en europe and North america, it seems its more suitable as hobby riding (+ soft roading) instead of dedicated off road ADV.
No it isn't. Size and weight is the last thing a scrambler needs. The 1200X is the more road focused version anyway. I'll bet the scramblers that McQueen and Ekins raced were half the weight of a XE/XC/X.
@@paulshackleton3594 Eh, different in that it's the one off the Trident 660/Tiger600.Including the switchgear on the handlebars. I'ts cheaper than the 1200 TFT.
@Desmo904 different in that I like the minimalist styling on the display.. I liked it on the trident but bike was far too small so like that they have put it on here..its subjective I know but gets a thumbs up from me 😀
@paulshackleton3594 That's fair. Did the XC have cruise controls? With these controls, that's now not an option. Can't recall if it was only the XE that had them. I do like the changes for the 'x' The tft was the only thing I didn't like what they changed it to personally.
So shittier brakes Nissin vs Brembo, the Analogue/TFT display from the Trident 660/Tiger sport 660 verses the original nicer color TFT display. Rear suspension changed from Ohlins to Showa, and no cruise control for $600 less than the 2023 model!!!!

Damn I love new LCD display! Finally looks modern, beautiful and informative!

I know “all new” doesn’t require square wheels and vertical lift-off, but surely it requires something more than tweaks and minor refinements.
Sold on the lower seat height!
When I first saw this I was quite surprised how tall this bike was. I hope there will be an option where you can lower the suspension 😅
You can ride a huge bike just fine if you use one foot.
Get a 900 scrambler. Only the XE or XC are good for real off-road, anyway
Wow super XE
Less HP/T over the tiger 900??

Suck it up
Why such low power compared to the 400x,?
So Triumph upgraded the XE by removing the heated grips which were standard on previous XE models. Triumph is truly run by bean counters. 😢
How to tour Colombia ❤
dont, exhaust heat + colombian climate is too much
@@abhishekparmar6702 Colombia has thermal floors that range from 3,864 meters above sea level, it depends on which route you take.

Some how. The 1200x is more like a balanced version of 1200xc.
Except for the shitty display😝
Smaller, inferior bike to the XC.
Either that guys a giant, or It's too small. The scram is supposed to be a big bike.
It's almost an inch shorter than the XC, which requires a 32" inseam to double flat foot.

No cruise control on a bike of this price is poor, it is not even an option on the X.
That TFT display looks like a joke to me... for 21st. century totally disgusting... old one looks sooo much better
So true!
I actually like it... something a bit different...
