I think you also said at one point that 4015 is no longer the only engine that can go behind 4014. As far as I saw on social media today a GE locomotive was placed behind 4014 around Rock Springs, WY.
It had to do with the FRA. A diesel had to be put in because steam locomotives don’t contain PTC (which the FRA is mandating all railroads have now)… at least, not until now apparently
Videos don't do justice on 4014's whistle. Its true power is best experienced in person. I saw 4014 when it came to Fort Worth in 2021 and remember the whistle being extremely loud even from a mile away.
It’s always a good time to see big boy on the move
❤❤❤❤ LOVE THE CABOOSE ON THE END. MISS THOSE DAYS ...😊
One the better videos I've seen so far of the 4014 on her way to California, . . . .
Thank you. I always try to keep the quality high on my content. No point shooting otherwise.
“he” is been confirmed, sorry for the late comment
See? Even @TreeVamp360 knows his gender

Muy bonitas las máquinas antiguas me encanta 👏🏻
This is proof that UP actually restored a freighter (well... 50 percent freight)
Beautiful footage of the 4014! I'm trying to see if I can head out to see the Big Boy in Illinois in September.
Excellent video my friends awesome like 👍🏻 and Greeting 😊
I wonder if they EVER will let 14 pull a full freight solo, would be GREAT P.R..
Great video
Guess they got sick people asking why there was diesel in the consist to lol

People waving,It's like waving to the pope when its moving and more revelent to the watchers
Is it just me or does 4014s whistle sound very weak

Is it just me, or did 4014 sprout a third dynamo?
They needed it for the on-board PTC.
@@FanRailer I kinda figured that based on the fact that 4014 is able to run without a diesel PTC connection.
