I have several auto immune conditions and neurological issues, and I am working on getting disability after years of trying to recover. I have gotten pretty far doing intermittent fasting carnivore/low carb/eating healthy. No gluten. I have been exercising regularly and avoiding caffeine and other stimulants. I have reduced my screen time and practice good sleep hygiene.
I currently live with my parents, take care of my 3yo daughter as a single dad and work part time at a fast food restaurant. With the above mentioned lifestyle changes I have gone from just wiping tables and doing dishes to doing faster paced and more difficult positions in the restaurant I was not able to do before.
What I worry about is if I will ever be the masculine type that the right woman for me will be attracted to. I check off a lot of those boxes as far as leadership goes, but financially and just having the energy to maintain a meaningful relationship, I am unsure.
I feel weak, my progress seems so slow or is even just reversed when I don’t sleep and get sick every 3 weeks. My muscles atrophy and my brains stops working. I am hoping doing SR will give me the extra amount of discipline and strength I need to keep implementing healthy lifestyle habits and maybe one day recover.

Finding a partner that accompanies your values is definitely vital and in this modern age people are skewed on a variety of different aspects. I get the feeling that not alot of people are into conscious self-improvement and that's something that has to change for the better. I've met lots of people that are interesting and hold good values since I live in a vibrant cultural city with lots of students so that makes it easier to meet like minded people. Outside of the city however you've got lots of places where you have to wind the clock back a few decades sometimes. The world needs change, the world needs more compassion, empathy and a healthy dose of discipline.
