Its definitely fun!
I couldn’t really see that the fabric changed colour, were you dyeing? Could i dothat with cotton and indigo dyeing, the effects look like they could be amazing?
Hi there Pat no I was retaining the shape of the wrapped screws, nails etc but yes you could dye on cotton with different effective results. thanks for watching.
Loving your video!!
Hello there ! Thank you so much for the feedback. Glad you enjoyed it.😀👍💫👋
I love it! Are you only using glass and metal? Would plastic beads melt during steaming/boiling?
HI Eva great! thanks for watching. Yes I was I find that the glass and metal give you far better results.
@@didsburyartstudio Thank you very much for replying.
Is it necessary to treat the fabric with glue?
hi there I have never used glue...
Can you tell this was only to achieve the Shapes as you have not dyed them? But how long will they retain the shape as they are going to flatten unless one never washes them??
Hi there! yes I made this video back in November and they are still going strong! still retaining their shape.😃😍
@@didsburyartstudio Thanks for replying 😊
Hey is it washable? It'll retain the shape after washing?
Hi It depends on what fabric you’re using with the chiffon I used you can gently handwash and it will retain its shape.. 😊
Could you put it in the microwave?
Hi Rachel thanks for watching my video. Honest truth is this is not something I have ever tried, but I have noticed on Pinterest that others have tried with success. Do let me know if you try...👍🏻
