I really like that you showed before and after in one video, and didn't make it into whole 400 episode saga. Amazing transformation, nothing to criticise or dislike
You're so optimistic in your narration! I love it! "This will look good with a fresh coat of paint!" Meanwhile the rest of the place looks like it should be lit on fire and burned down...
Alyssa, My husband and I are in the process of purchasing our first home but unfortunately it is an extremely heavy rehab project that we will be taking on. It is a southern California 1950s construction and the owner hasn't bothered doing any renovation to it. Honestly... I feel like the home is quite similar to this one. We will have to gut it out BIG TIME!!! By the way, I liked how you chose the tan colored flooring instead of the gray that is super popular right now.
OMG! You did such a wonderful job in renovating that disgusting house. The staging is genius. Overall, the house looks soo beautiful, light, airy & Clean! Great job! ❤🎉
Beautiful renovation!! I’d like to see not just the before and after. During renovations are fun to watch too. Plus it would give you more content and views. Keep up the good work!
Glad to see this followup. That weird entryway is one I remember as pretty common in my childhood down in the San Gabriel Valley. Since there is inside-the-garage access in, that laundry seems like a good mud room/laundry combo spot to kind of ease the negatives of the side entrance. The floor plan is really good (I once had a similar one.) I really like all your finishes this time, maybe your budget constraints helped haha! Great project.
That’s a good idea. We never used our front door, but it wasn’t on the side of the house either. Alway came thru the garage if the door was open, led right into the hall by the pantry & laundry room.
I love these videos, but I am in the process of buying a house and the last three houses I looked at were "flipped" and could not pass an inspection. In one house, every single socket was wired backwards and there were no regulated GFCI outlet in the kitchen. Rotted joists, cracked or poorly repaired foundation walls, flood zones from the first floor being level with the ground outside... it's been a nightmare.
So beautiful you did such an amazing job the front door is so beautiful and I love the ensuite bedroom and bathroom very practical :) the kitchen was also such a show stopper thank you for renovating this much needed home
I agree the Master Bedroom should not be shared, but other than that, The House is Magnificent and loved the Open concept. Again you brought this Home back to life. Loved the video 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
What an amazing transformation!!! It looks so much better now. The first house I owned had jack and jill bathroom between the two smaller bedrooms and a master bath. There was nothing for guests so I would have appreciated an extra door to the master bath so guests didn't have to go through my bedroom to go to the bathroom.
Great content and Nice design! Just wondering do you have a designer to help you do all the planning and permits and how many weeks do you a lot for planning before starting renovation? Thanks
Lovely remodel really. But am I the only one thinking that an "entry level house" should NEVER EVER cost anywhere close to what this costs? Whoever is buying a house for over a million bucks is not an "entry level" customer LOL. I realize the real estate market is completely screwed up- I get that. But every time i hear the words "entry level" I am thinking... has it really gone this far??? Line go up, always? Line never go down?
Beautiful! I would have loved to have seen the stairs kept with the open spaces in keeping with the home's mid-century modern detail though. I do love your choice of bathroom floor w/shower tiles! Very nice.
Lisa, I love to watch your videos, I learned a lots from the videos, even I have no plan to flip house. Since I am planning to remodel my home, can you please let me know where did you purchased pre-manufactured kitchen cabinets with counter top? I live in SF Bay Area. Thanks
You make it look seamlessly easy with your natural and exquisite talent! Everything you do is attention to detail. I can tell you take pride in what you do!
I’m so glad I found your channel. I look forward to your makeovers! You have such great taste and I’ve copied a few of your design ideas. Hope to see many more in the future, you have a subscriber for life!
Beautiful transformation, you have amazing taste and bring life to homes. Which paint color and finish did you use on the stairs handrail? I have similar stair hand rail but the seller had it painted white. I dont like..it gives old style feeling.
Very nice but the stucco on front of garage looks very rough, or it that the style? The study nook is a good idea but needs better lighting, it feels like you're working in a cupboard
i was surprised by the purchase price, i first thought that it has to be 85 k instead 850 k. At least here in germany you would pay a maximum of 150€ for such an old and dirty house. The end result is very nice.
Amazing transformation! I'm only upset about the stairs, they look like 2010s after even a fresh coat of paint. A sky blue or baby blue color on the door could have made it a pop like your Spanish and Mid-Century style house flips. How about the story book house flip? Any update on it?
Hi! Love all your videos and all of your flips are so tasteful and stylish. I’m also in the Bay Area so this is giving me a ton of great ideas on how to renovate. Do you have any affiliate links where I can purchase the same materials for my own house?
@@TransformRealEstate Amazing, thank you - I'll be sure to check it out! Can you please share what floors you used for this project - I'm so in love with the look of it!
How can a house look so disgusting and filthy? It made me wanna tear it down and rebuild. When a painter is asking for $4K to paint a studio, and a plumber asking for $800 to replace some shower trim, fixing such a rundown place seems daunting. Great transformation.
Good afternoon from Spain, I'm a faithful follower of your projects, congratulations for your work, I'd like to ask you if it's a good option to furnish houses before selling to obtein more profit and a faster sale ? is it a good option depending on whether it is a large houses or small apartments ? thanks a lot
Thanks for your support! I loved Spain when I visited 2.5 years ago, especially the Alhambra palace 😍 I use a staging service to furnish the place before sale so it helps buyers visualize how they could arrange furniture and live their lives in the house. I think it can really increase the sale price. It makes the home feel bigger too. Is there staging service in Spain?
@@TransformRealEstate I also know the Alhambra palace, it's a wonderful historical place, my dad was born in Granada, I've found home staging services but they don't seem as comlete as the ones that appear in your videos, thanks for your answer
The fireplace needed to get more brickwork added to the right hand side towards the window in order to make it look centered. That would have been another easy fix that sadly was omitted.
The home is filthy, but has good bones. I can see the potential, but there was a lot of work everywhere. You did an amazing job, even though this house was more than merely cosmetics. Many flippers would struggle with this ugly and damaged home, including myself.
It applies to regular home owners too, so it will suppress home sales and cause a larger imbalance between supply and demand. A lot of homes I flip are in such terrible shape that conventional lenders wouldn’t lend on them, so it’s not going to help first time home buyers, especially because a lot of them don’t have the money and time to take on such projects
It looks nice, but functionally I wish you had moved the kitchen sink and dishwasher under the window. It would have meant relocating plumbing, but as it is now only one person can really be using the kitchen at a time. Can't possibly use the sink and dishwasher while anyone is trying to cook. At that price point, I'm surprised you didn't go ahead and fix the layout.
No. She makes 100-300k per flip. Rent in sanfransisco is at best 6000$ a month for this house. Plus the 850k mortgage and the reno costs. You make more money quicker pumping and dumping the house
Ikr….this morning I thought..I don’t wanna die today because it would be embarrassing for people to see my house…after seeing this… “man my house is pristine!”.

very lovely. do you mind sharing what flooring you used?
Do you receive loans to have the money to buy and fix up the home? That’s $1M just to renovate the house. That’s my only problem
What are you renovating @per sq ft?
I really like that you showed before and after in one video, and didn't make it into whole 400 episode saga. Amazing transformation, nothing to criticise or dislike
I like that too❤
wow a house like this sold as is for 850k. unbelievable, only in SF.

It’s Alisa.
Love how transparent you are with the numbers and the renovation experience! 🙌🏽
Wow, what a transition. I thought there would be no hope for that house. Well you did it! Beautiful!
Once again, you did not disappoint. Amazing transformation. It didn’t feel cheap at all even if there are some budget constraints. 👏👍
I’m starting to appreciate the time and effort the house flipper did for my new house that was built in 1921.
Everything looks new.
That is just sickening.

Second this. Would like to see more of the process and learn as you go along. You can create multiple videos from a single house :)
Thanks for the tips, and most importantly your videos Inspired me a lot to publish videos as a non-english-native speaker❤
This is amazing! Been following you since covid. I love how you explain everything slowly!
I love the full transformation videos because it feels like a TV episode
Damn! I did not have high hopes for this one but it looks so nice! Good job! 👏🏾
Wow! What a transformation, you do some of the best flips in the business!
Wow! You took a sad broken house and made it so much better!!❤
Funny enough I was about to put down an offer on this very house but I missed the opportunity. Well done! 👏👏
Beautiful! I also wish the space under the stair case to be utilized as storage.

do you know which brand of flooring you used? it looks gorgeous!!
