Wanna take a look at a sweet sweet machine, let’s walk around and take a look at the bike Mr Baja rids himself.
Also important to note is the very trick set up and modifications done by Joe Lloyd and his JCR Speed Shop
Check out Joe and connect up with him if you have any questions about any of his mods on this bike.

Also come ride with Scotty Harden and Johnny at some of their upcoming events

He's all simplicity, purpose and reliability here. Thx for letting us check it out along with ya. Appreciate the tips and comments.🤙🔧
your videos are great and super helpful. what I've really noticed is the enduro community is one of those that is filled with really good fun people that just help each other and have fun.
You can see the years of experience demonstrated by the attention to detail on the machine!
Awesome bike - not over done, not under done - just dialed in. As for the Tstat, I delete those just to eliminate the failure possibility factor. Never had an issue with deleting but I also watch my temps and warm up the bike a certain way each ride. Excellent stuff Taco!
Thanks for that look Mike and way more than the bike, thanks for letting us all in on the men behind the machines. IDK Johnny at all but I can vouch for Scott Harding as a great ambassador for us off-road guys. Did the Nevada 200 twice and got to meet Scott in his element. As an East Coast guy, what a great experience all the way around and Scott (and Casey Folk) is a tremendous host.
Such a brutally simple bike. I own a 1st Gen 450X that was built out to JCR spec and similar motor mods. Not nearly as MX/ SX works- trick as you might expect. But definitely a fine tuned war hammer that can wreak havoc in the gnar or chill mode down dual sport roads while I hoon around with my bros. Let's see some more of that throwback bike behind it, already!
Thanks for sharing man!
We don't get the x in OZ i still got a 05 X in 250 and 450 both plated in Australia still great bikes
Wow, 200 hrs and never popped the cover for valve check! Honda reliability?
Nice honda, you guys plan on comparing the beta500 to the ktmexc, interested how the beta stacks up to the ktm.. I eliminated the thermostat on my 07 450exc never had a problem , I'm in pa... anyway keep the videos coming.. thanks
Hell of a build.
When you say 10% under spec on the frame bolts are you referring to the spec torque on the bolts? 10% less on torque?
I was trying to figure a way to put tools down there in that spot. Lol
Loosen them then re torque at spec value less 10%👌🏽
@@TACOMOTOCO excellent, im gonna work on the motor mounts as well!
@@TACOMOTOCO Is this a dated thought now, considering the new 450r is stiffer than the generation of bike in this video? I heard somewhere that the old frames were actually flexing / compressing and releasing energy, which was the the problem all along. So I'm genuinely curious if the under torquing everything helped or not.
Bike is awesome!
Sweet, what’s the capacity of that fuel tank?
You like KTM more right? how is the suspension of the KTM 500 compared to the CRF450RL? stock**
How did he plate that model is the real question?
It’s Johnny Campbell.
He knows the governor
@@TACOMOTOCO I have a slight feeling emperor newsom wouldn’t allow that it being gas burning and all haha
What gas cap is that ?
Jump on it and leave. Lol. Sweet sweet bike man. Geezus.
So he didnt put the rx cam in that bike if so why not
I'd like to know if Johnny Campbell would prefer to ride an XR650R than a CRF450?
think it has more with sponsorship... honda are trying to sell 450s at this moment 650r are out of production... so he could ride the 650 but why would honda finance it?
Riding as far out in the desert they do……Reliability is probably number one
How offen do they do these runs?
See hardens website for schedule
Built the same bike 2022 crf450x with San diago powerhouse kit porting vortex fmf full and they claim 60 hp is that right ?
That’s what they say.
Taco moto is currently developing a camshaft option w AIM ecu tuning. Stay posted
@@TACOMOTOCO will it have the same gains or better then San diagopowerhouse kit ?
@@robertlambert7906 yes
@@TACOMOTOCO can’t wait to see this hurry up and load that file lol
Will you guys release real dynos
Where's Johnny Campbell??
Off singing autographs prolly
I don't think the 450's will ever duplicate what the XR 600/650's did in Baja .
What do you mean? The 450x has already won the Baja many more times than the 600 and 650. Almost twice as many times actually. It’s been a far more dominant bike in its time than the 600.
Right, the 650 was so very different than the 450. It was easier to ride, faster and more reliable. The 450s lighter. For the Baja, I still think the 650 has a shot.
Looks like a bent subframe😂.....may have took a lil digger
Meh.... 650r was so much cooler
