Thanks for the honest review. I think I won’t get these gloves until they make them completely waterproof and more warm.

Not sure on how tall you are but I'm almost 19 and we have a similar body structure, I'm only 5'7 I weigh about 155. Will the large I ordered in the duck oven be way to big?

Any word on how they performed for you this season shooting/loading with them on?

+REDHAWK7BRIGADE shooting and loading with them is fine. I'd still prefer no gloves, but they are comfortable when needed. Would I recommend these gloves? For the money, no. I'll have a full review video after the season, but they are not nearly as warm as you'd expect from a glove this expensive. The outer also soaks up water and if it's below freezing, they'll freeze up fast.

I use them almost every hunt once it starts getting chilly, and I really like them when running the boat. Once the hunting starts the usually get put in the blind bag. I don't really feel they are worth the $130 price tag though. They're moderately warm, but when it's brutally cold, hand warmers in a fleece lined pouch are far superior. Also, being GoreTex I figured they would be more waterproof - not the case. The outside easily soaks up water, and after almost every single hunt I have to dry them out, even though I didn't do anything to get my hands particularly wet. Luckily the water doesn't make it past the outside layer, but when its cold, they'll freeze and your hands will not last.
Gloves are a hard thing to get right for a waterfowler.

Well that didn't help much! It didn't tell me anything an ad does. I need real world feed back before I buy $130 gloves that you have to take off to load your shotgun fast.
    Need an update asap

+Clint E sorry this was before I had ever used them, so it was just my first impressions after opening. I would not buy them again. I don’t have to take them off to load my gun, but these gloves don’t really stand out like some of the other Sitka gear does. Water soaks into the outside layer.. my hands never got wet, but the gloves get water logged if you use them in the water much at all. They also have not held up as well as I would like, considering the price.

I was looking at the seal skins dragon eye camo gloves, they don't seem as bulky as gtx gloves and for the price might be a better option for waterproof midweight glove.
Thank you for the quick reply!
      Good luck hunting!
