+WhyHerro Dere this is kinda late, but I'm pretty sure square faces more prominent jaws than round faces. If your jaw area from the ear to the chin is more of an angle [like a < kinda shape] rather than a smooth curve [a ( kinda shape], then you have a square face.

Probably because it's a very desired face shape and people with a diamond face shape can rock every eyebrow shape.

honestly, i think it is more crucial to know your eye shape first than your face shape in determining the brow shape for you. the brows and the eyes go more hand in hand because they are in the closest proximity. i have an oval face but i can definitely tell my eye shape is very picky with brows. my eyes are upturned at the outer corner (they're not too big/puppy-eyed, quite the opposite actually), so anything arched, thin or harsh in any way will accentuate their strong, feline shape. however you can pull this off as well if it's suitable to your personality or what kind of image you want to project. as for me, i would like to tame it a bit by going straighter and softer on the grooming-- just a bit undone but shaped enough. i like to keep the width/thickness as well so i don't look too old. if you have the sad/downturned kind of eyes, it's nice to reinforce some strength to them by giving a bit of an arch somewhere and elevating the tip of the brow above where your brow starts. i honestly feel it's always flattering to keep the width of your brows as much as possible than going too thin/pencil-like. unless of course that's not your style, then do what your heart desires :D

I have the same eye shape as you and very thick eyebrows.. Today I did my first threading and they did it way too arched and slim... I doesn't go with my face and also not the kind of look I want... Since my eyes are cat like my natural straight bushy eyebrows used to balance it but now it's ruined.. I hope they will grow soon

True, I think people are confused and are comparing her face length with their own (longer) face length.
Her face looks more an oval than a long/oblong face.I see long face shape in Tiffany Young,Maggie Q or Sandra Oh.Oval and heart shaped faces have more lenght than width too but is not so slim and long than oblong faces.Her face shape looks much more like Yoona.

What if you're like me and have a heart shaped face? Is it not common in Korea?
I'm Korean and I have a heart shaped face. My eyebrows aren't really straight as they curve. Hahhaa
I think a lot of Korean women have relatively small forehead so heart-shape face is not very common but, still, it's one of the most common shapes apart from oval/round/square/long and they should've included it in this video.
Hannahjqd honestly, you really can't tell what women really have in Korea because of plastic surgery. Plus, you're only seeing what Korea wants you to see and you're not seeing the people of Korea. I've seen many girls in Korea with large foreheads. Of course they should have included that, but because there is actually a surgery for forehead reduction they probably didn't include it.
Sup Hee Apart from not seeing many women with heart-shaped face on my trip to South Korea last year, my logic for believing that the majority of Korean women don't have large forehead is that I'm a Han Chinese, and I think my ethnic group (or at least people in my home state) has facial features quite similar to Koreans (as native Koreans are all from one ethnic group). I don't think any non-Eastern-Asian people can tell the two ethnic groups apart by eyes. And most women in my ethnic group naturally don't have large forehead and heart-shaped face. If you've seen a good percentage of Korean women with large forehead, then obviously my prediction is wrong.
Sup Hee And I just wanna add that although there's surgery for forehead reduction, I think heart-shape is a beautiful face shape, as well as large foreheard depending on what other facial features a person has. That's not the beauty standard in Korea, I guess? Thinking about it, most Korean female idols and actresses have small forehead.
I'm a long oval/oblong and I found out my brows look best short and straight through trial and error. I wish I found this video sooner, could've avoided my crazy arched brow phase.

Jennie from Blackpink has straight eyebrows (with a very soft arch, almost a bit rounded) and she is a round face. This is the case for many idols I noticed. I don't think that round faces can wear only arched brows and that straight eyebrows make your face appear rounder. There is a difference between a slim round face and a very round face.

I have a diamond face that's small. I've been trying straight eyebrows but FIRST i think they're to dark or thick my eyebrows are too arched kinda and it makes me mad. I dyed my hair and it's like a light brown. I have everything i need for my eyebrows but... I need helppp

I have diamond face as well and the key with our face shape is definitely the arch! embrace it!! you can still have your eyebrows straight from the bottom side but keep the arch in its place. trust me, with too straight and non-archy eyebrows the diamond face will look very wide and weird.. i've been there.
If you have dark hair, your eyebrows should be 2-3 shades lighter.. if your hair is light, your eyebrows should be 2-3 shades darker.

Literally everything you say encourages girls to shrink themselves, to look and be smaller. I love ordering from your website and I understand that pretty much everyone wants clear skin, but much of what you say encourages depression, especially in young women. I'm a professor in Sociology. This is a part of what I teach. I'm begging you to consider the implications of what you say, and the rhetoric you use when discussing "skin whitening" in similar videos. I want to believe that what you really mean is making the skin more uniform. However, when you use terms like "whitening," you're encouraging young people with darker skin tones to LITERALLY hate themselves. Skin whitening/bleaching is a global phenomenon. It's a public health crisis. Please consider researching this and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE consider the kind of content you're putting out there.

She's talking about korean makeup and it often emphasizes petite styles and whiter skin tones as opposed to darker ones so of course she would use such terms. It is the style of korean makeup. I doubt she would try to be encouraging girls to hate themselves, but instead she's teaching girls how to enhance their beauty.

I stand by my original comment. Skin whitening is a global health crisis. I've worked with Japanese and Korean-American women to put together college seminars on the topic, so I encourage you to research it further.
I much prefer the "healthy you" to be the ideal. though I wonder if at the end of the day certain physical characteristics will be preferred anyway and people will try to fit those molds anyway to gain advantage in whatever shape that may take. I despise the mental problems these provoke though, as idolizing that which you are not is a recipe for self hatred among other things. I also wonder if the media and celebrities stopped spewing so many photo-shopped pictures of women already going through strict diets,procedures and monitored exercise routines, would change this public drive to fit that mold. I wonder if mass-media are the ones that set these norms. I know they have a lot of influence. They are also out to make money too, so its in their interest to keep costumers needing their products, thus being dissatisfied with how they naturally look. Maybe its a question of the public supporting "healthier" media, and keeping up making new memes that compete with the unhealthier memes. Its everyones job. Im totally rambling by now XD Anyway, I get your point.
I imagine Korean girls aren't all porcelain white, so it IS kind of evil to be idolizing particular things and saturating the media with images of it.
