But by her surname, Ripoll, she's of Catalan descent, as many other Colombians are...
Let me ask you, what do you consider a "fully Colombian"? Because according to our Constitution and our culture, if you're born in Colombian soil, you're "fully" Colombian.

I was @ that very concert that was filmed in Miami. It was nuts. Her performances were insane. She had rock, pop, reggae ton, Alejandro Sanz & Wyclef Jean performed with her too. Her voice was as clear as it sounds on the video. One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to.

The song she’s dancing at the beginning it is call “Enta Omri” that it means “You are my life” from Oum Kholthum one the most important female singers from Egypt!!
actually the first music that she was dancing on is old Egyptian song .. belly dance came from Egypt and when Shakira came to Egypt she said she used to watch a lot of old famous Egyptian dancers and that's why she learned it .
