    my boyfriend gave me a bunch of flowers on christmas eve, and i found that one of the flowers had started to sprout some new leaves. i carefully separated the sprout and planted it, it seems to be very healthy :))

    Thank you. I'm trying to grow roses for my Flower stand, because corporations have literally made mom and Pop stores almost a thing in the past. So If I want to actually keep reasonable prices, I'm gonna have to grow all my stuff from seeds

    I harvested some seeds from my grandmother's garden who recently passed, she loved her rose bushes and I wanted to keep hers alive no matter where I go, they have been in the fridge for some time during winter but will attempt my first germination based off your advice, thank you.

    I have kept some rose seed in fridge for garmination before a month.... today morning I was checking all seeds as usual... I saw a tiny sprout caming out... I'm so happy 😄😄😄😄

    I’m a little confused because my rose bush grows in the summer. I think I just had my final bloom about 2 weeks ago. Your growing season is fall-winter?

      Depends upon the area and it's weather conditions ...here in North India we normally grow rose plants in winter season

      Mix half table spoon NPK 19:19:19 in 1 litre water and add 60-80 ml per medium size plant ... repeat after every 18-20 days

      You can give 15-20 granules of DAP or mix half table spoon NPK 19:19:19 in 1 litre water and add 50-70 ml per medium size plant ... repeat after every 35-40 days during normal days and after every 15 days during winter season

    Firstly, thank you for the video which is useful.
    In one clip you just put it in the sun for 3 days. In the other you put it on the fridge for 30 days.... which is right??

      During the cold season (6-28 degree Celsius)...thr is no need to keep the seeds in the fridge ...while in hot climate (28-38) it is better to keep the seeds in fridge before sowing

      Yes ...if they are not producing by their own than you can hand pollinate flowers to get rose hips

      If the temperature in your area is between 8-25 degree Celsius than no need to freeze them ...plant them direct in the soil mix and if the temperature is above 26 degree Celsius than u can keep them in refrigerator for 10 -12 days before sowing them in the soil mix

    It is summer time in North Carolina,US and I have taken out some rose seeds from the rose pods.I have put the seeds in fridge.now how long should they be kept in the fridge?and when can they be planted?

      Keep them in fridge for 12-15 days and after that you can plant them. If the temperature is between 10-25 degree Celsius in that case you can plant them directly in the soil

      Not sure about the online market .....check near by gardens or at your friends/relatives to get mature rose hips ...native/ Desi rose normally produce rose hips after every flowering

    Can I pluck orange color rose hip? You also plucked orange color rose hip. But then you showed fully dry rosehip. Do I need to dry the rose hip first? I can't crack it open yet as it isn't dry yet. How do I take out the seeds from this rose hip?

      It is better to take full matured rose hips as they have better germination rate ....after seed extraction let them dry for 1-2 days in partial sun

      Harvest mature seeds from rose hips n let them dry out for 2-3 days in sun ...after that keep them in a tissue paper inside a box .....they will be viable for 9-12 months ....leave some rose hips on the plant also 👍

    I have many roses and bouganvilleas in my house, during the time we planted them, they used to bloom very well, but after about 20 days to 1 month they stopped, they no longer produce flowers...just keep on growing, Please suggest what to do?

      Viable n fresh seeds can be grown easily ....70% of the seeds available in the market are old n fake
