My girlfriend died without warning about about 3 weeks ago. She was 29 and really loved Laleh's music. Me browsning youtube for her music is a way to handle my sorrows and remember who she was. For me the support of friends and family have been a great help but it took 1-2 weeks before i even had the energy to talk about what i was feeling inside. When you are feeling like i do and like many of us do at some point in our life it is important to get professional help. For me it helped alot and it made it easier so talk to the people that knows and love me. Wherever you are in life, try to remember the good memories and even try to imagine a day when you can get new ones.
Omg my sister was 18 and she she die in 04 november i get know about 6 november she die with car in wather she was in wather 48 hours and 03 november was my birtyday and i am 12
I'm so sorry. It doesn't matter what some stranger tells you but i belive you have alot of people in yout life that love you. Share the sadness with with them and try to not close people out of how you are feeling, It is so easy to isolate yourself but try not to.. if you can
I think the video is a part of Laleh's own story: the long journey while fleeing Iran. And also a tribute as her father drowned in a river trying to save another (which he did) who fell from a canoe in a stream . That's the part that makes her authentic: conveying personal experience into art. She has a story to tell. Let's hear more!
I am from Fiji, in the South Pacific. My country also mourned for Norway's loss and moment of turbulence. I cried as we dedicate our afternoon prayers to Norway. Though we may be on the other side of the wide world, just remember that we are all humans and whatever happens to other countries affect us all. I now have dedicated the date through the years to have a moment of silence for my brothers and sisters in Norway. We love you all...This song when played for the memorial service made me cry and cry how innocent loved ones were massacred....
My cousin in-law unexpectedly died recently, she was only 42 and a loving wife to my cousin(my auntie's son) for 11 years, it came as a huge shock to my family and she was a lovely down to earth woman. I remember having conversations with her and it's heartbreaking to think I'll never talk to her again. I'd be too emotional the next time I see her husband now widow but seeing we're sons of 2 sisters we cannot lose contact, i learned past several months that I need to be closer to my family more than ever and say 'I love you' before it's too late,
Im so sad to hear about your mother Laleh ...! 💖 My sorrow is when my only son died in a car crash ...this life never be the same again ! I really like to listen to your music , it's so near the real life ! Thanks a lot Laleh ! 💖
J. Dahlström wow you are so cool and edgy do you feel better now with youre sad depresing life? dont you see this is the reason you dont have any friends...
This song was made in early 2012, following the tragic shooting and bombing in Norway that took place a few months before this song, however if you looka at the dat when this video was uploaded it came here in August 2013, if it would have been uploaded at the time the song was made Im sure it would have more views than this.
Laleh's father passed a way saving another's life, I read somewhere. My father passed away last year. Grief comes in waves. Peace to you and us all, thank you for your music Laleh
I miss you mammy, i'm crying, i'm unhappy and who will ever love me like you. I miss you Rip and my condolences to all those who have lost their beloved ones.
In her documentary "Jag Är Inte Berädd Att Dö Än" she said that the song is about life, living. But as HaBe JoTi said, she sang it in Norway to honor the people who died that day.
I saw the Utøya 22. Juli movie last monday i thought about this song then. It was difficult to see it. Kids dropping dead, lifes destroyed. But afterwards i listened to this and thought about how an entire nation grieved together. Its calming but it brings up the feelings of that day. This song helped me through that difficult time after the terror in 2011.
Hello Laleh, I discovered you through my passion for Adam Lambert (even though I am a Grandmother I love his talent and his beauty) ... I see we share another passion... the beauty of horses....
This song should be every where... my friend's friend died of cancer and this is only what i listen to because i feel so bad about him... he could be so much more and experience so much things. i know i was not a good friend with him but that doesnt mean i dont care about him. i still love him, i would never let him die anyways what he does. its not funny how kids die and cant experience all the things other people can. its not fair. i wish he could come back... yeah this comment get ignored i know but i still care about every single one of u guys. he died like a week ago. it feels like a knife in my heart, like something in my life is missing. the worst thing about young people that die is that the friends around them will cry and family, young people should not die or lose friends.
When I was a kid I had a cd and I listened to this song every night I couldn't sleep without it and now I'm here I'm 13 and still obsessed with this song it's the one song I know all lyrics too

I remember the day in 2011, the day after Utøya, when my entire town held a minute of silence. It was beautiful, and this song reminds me.

I thought this was popular worldwide, since I heard it everywhere. But I live in Norway so maybe thats why it was played so many times
One of the most beautiful songs ever sung! It should be viewed by hundreds of millions!
Only 2,6 million views? What's wrong with the world...?! Real music doesn't get a chance anymore...

If she goes to Eurovision, she can honestly gain international reputation
какая нежная девушка,какая хорошая композиция. скромность придает загадочность и шарм. просто умница!

I today lost my mom
And we said we would die together.. some die young. Echt traurig irgendwie
A very close friend of mine was found dead today after missing for several days. I have never understood the meaning off the song until now.
When my favorite aunt died too young I discovered this song. This is the song for me to remind her.
She is one of the world's most amazing talents!
Suddenly, i remember why i had such strong desire to go into music 4 years ago. Laleh is amazing.
My really good friend died 3 days ago. She was only 20years old. 3days cant get that out of my head. Then i heard this. Thanks, and u got a new fan!
Ich höre dieses Lied das erste Mal im Jahr 2024 & finde es toll 😍❤️
Denna låt får mig att tänka på allt jag saknar som aldrig kommer återvända, den får mig att gråta, tack för så fin musik Laleh!
i think she made this song in memory of all the young people who died the 22nd of July 2011 at utøya in Norway. May their souls rest in peace
Andrea Louise yes you are correct this song was in honor of the people who died 22nd of july
No she didn't, she wrote it before it happened, But she sang it in norway(?) to honor the ones who died
+Andrea Louise no its not.. she just sang it there..
In her documentary "Jag Är Inte Berädd Att Dö Än" she said that the song is about life, living.
But as HaBe JoTi said, she sang it in Norway to honor the people who died that day.
***** Nu är det ju så att jag är svensk, men ursäkta min särstavning..

Probably because of the massacre we had here. Was quite relevant at the time, considering the average age of the ones killed.
