Thanks for your observation. There’s a fan which is included in this which most times is not included in all many they sell outside because I’ve seen a lot of them. Probably you didn’t see the part I talked about the fan. This fan helps the unit to be more efficient because the faster you’re able to make the air in the room pass through the fins of the heat sink, the better the efficiency. It’s possible the one in your room uses a lower power supply or amperage but this one I made myself uses a higher power supply than any small unit I’ve seen. I’m not just doing this for the sake of DIY but I’m an Electrical/Electronic Engineer and I know what it entails even if it will cost me more, I derive great satisfaction in doing things myself which most times end up serving me best than the ones I buy. I have dehumidifier I bought myself and they are not as efficient as this so I thought since it’s what I can do and even add some modifications, so why not. Pls feel free to clarify any other opinion you have concerning it. Thanks once again for your input.
@Great-ATA I think you did a great job in showing how it's made and explained it could be bought. People who are interested in this can use the knowledge to build possible modifications to enhance it. You also mentioned in your video 1/2 that it could be purchased online. Thank you again for sharing this video with us.
