More or less some people here in germany are teaching stuff they learned in the IWKA. i dont know if there are currently offizally some school but you can find some sifus in NRW and bayern

What I meant is, you cannot apply the lethal strikes from WC like finger jabs, whisking hand, Phoenix Eye, Ginger Fists, palm strikes, reverse elbow strike, throat grab, ... and most of all the reasons... WC is all about life preservation while UFC/MMA is a sport that you earn money. Understand? I hope still not so. :)
I don't get it is it wing chun, wing tsun or wing tjun?
it was wing chun in the very past, goes back to ip man. phonetically its wrong. correct is "wing tsun". I'm reading "wing tjun" the first time. A) I just know there are a lot of schools an organisations and the dont want to become problems with the copyright law. And so they use different names sometimes they practicing "wing chun" and you cant find whether "wing" or "chun" or something like this in the name. B) They are different types and styles of "wing chun" depending of the line from the past and so you have different name. some of the "wing chun"- systems are more traditional, others are open minded and very flexible, they developing the style. the main point is the essence of ."wing chun". other styles are aggressive or soft while using the power of the opponent. There are more differences but it would be do much for a comment. --> its cool this sifu here is opend-minded for all the lineages.of "wing chun". because "wing chun" is a to large idea of a fighting systems. there more minds and ideas you have the more you can understand and learn.

Sifu Sergio. I have heard a lot if excuses - but I still cannot understand why you or at least one of your top students is not in the UFC. Bruce Lee if He was alive will have been in the UFC - showing how his understanding is the greatest of forms.
m77ast wing chun does not work inside the octagon.. But on the street it does. Bruce lee created jkd which included boxing styles and many others like jiu jitsu, grappling, kali. So cant be compared with just wing chun. Sifu sergio does have a purple belt in BJJ so he's strong on the ground. But without fighting experience in the octagon its nonsense to fight in the ufc... Just look at what happened with cm punk.. So I think thats why.
Hello - why learn if you cannot use. To say that wing chun does not work in a ring is a sign of fear. Adapt and overcome.
Anything can be adapted but we need to see the beauty of this system in the main stream.
If Brice lee said Wing chun does not work in movies then your school probably will not exist today. This is not fair. It is not about making money and opening a thousand schools. It's about inspiring the next generation.
m77ast wing chun can be very dangerous on the street with eye poking, attacks to the groint or throat. Which are not allowed inside the octagon. The people fighting in the ufc have been doing this for their whole life and they are training 24/7. Watch wing chun vs pro wrestler in ufc back in the old days. I'm just being realistic. I agree this system is beautifull but I'm sorry inside the octagon in the ufc it just doesnt make sence. To me at least. Until there's someone that proves it wrong.

Arnel Tapia whatever ALL MARTIAL ARTS can cause injury or death. So many excuses. Boztepe is happy to fight William Cheng who is 2 times his age. But to fight others his size - he is afraid. Even Joanna jeanzjechek is a striker and still had success so why not wing chun? I see fear, I see weakness.
