First Run of The Empress - Rapido Trains Canadian Pacific H1b Hudson in HO Scale

Come along for the maiden voyage of my Rapido Trains "Empress," Canadian Pacific H1b #2816. We see her running with a full set of Canadian Pacific coaches and a support car on the layout of the Northern Virginia Model Railroaders in Vienna, Virginia.

Yea. Mine came yesterday and I preordered the business cars. Hoping we can get the auxiliary tender at some point in the future to complete the consist.

@157RANDOM there is a company making CP 35508 close to actually Shipping them out "Milepost 93 Models" as of right now they aren't letting anyone order till they get through all the pre-orders once they have gotten all those done they will allow people to start ordering again

They are talking about possibly making the other one that is normally SP 4449's Auxiliary Tender as well but probably want to wait till this other is done

What model was used for that Boxcar? I'm planning on making a custom for my 2816 but not sure who makes the best car for that

It's an Athearn Blue Box 40ft boxcar. I'll try to go into some detail about what cars I chose when I do a video about that boxcar.

I did indeed paint that boxcar myself. I made my own decal graphic and had it custom printed. I plan on doing a video on that boxcar pretty soon...
