The passage of Empress 2816 through Mexico was incredible despite the consequences. I managed to see it twice when I saw it pass by on its outbound trip and on its return trip. Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽
@@JOSHLEON-lb6gi Despite the incidents that happened, the enthusiastic reception the Mexican people gave 2816 was amazing to see ☺️. Steam locomotives will always be crowd magnets, but an enforcement of trackside safety is definitely needed in future. I’m glad you were able to witness this historical event 😎
@@trainmaster844 Indeed, the Mexican people welcomed the train and its crew very well. Here on my account I also have a video of the train passing through Mexico if you are interested in seeing it. Regards.
Very well detailed and impressive Canadian Pacific "Hudson" type locomotive model, Rapido has produced another incredible steam locomotive model and the Hudson type is a classic passenger service locomotive. This CP "Hudson" type model is amazing and I would definitely be interested in purchasing this model if I was modeling Canadian steam, this is another incredible Hudson (4-6-4) type engine produced for the ho scale market as most ho scale Hudson models have been produced by Broadway Limited Imports.
I’m glad you enjoyed the review. I’ve thought of getting a BLI New York Central Hudson, but Bachmann’s take on the Dreyfuss Hudsons (20th Century Limited) look tempting, too. 😅
A very comprehensive review! The commentary really goes a long way for these types of videos; absolutely adore the trademarks of the Railfan Review style (You know it's a Kovacs production when that one piano piece starts playing and the prototype history flashes across the screen). Can't wait to see more content; hoping for an SY review!
@@adventuresofamtrakcascades301 Don’t try to force it, though 😅 If they’re not able to get it, it’s just how things go. Also, as a side note, I had my pre-order in for about two years before the models finally arrived.
I have "As built" 2800 with smoke deflectors on its was to me in a couple days. Too many people have the 2816 and overall the tuscan red.....I've had like 5 people come to my club to visit with the near identical locomotive....though get something different. Plus I love smoke deflectors
@@MrSEANDEERE I’ve seen a few folks get the 2800 as well and it looks very nice with the smoke deflectors. I’ve always been a sucker for excursion engines and that’s why I got 2816 🤷
@@dougbailey392 It is a little wonky, but it still works. I don’t want to try to adjust it for fear of breaking it. It’s a minor issue in an otherwise flawless model.

Great review of a great model! Hope you'll be able to see the real 2816 operate someday!

@@2026_Productions Thank you for your compliments, as always! And thank you, Apple iMovie music loops for the background music lol 😂
8:16 perfectly said. I’m gonna convince my parents to get me this engine in ANY way I can

@trainmaster844 You're very welcome 👍
I'd like to see the canteen as well! Here in UK, the loco is a BIG price, for sure. Maybe...
O yes

Got mine last week, let's just say I praise this thing like a God...

How did you get a discount? I had to pay full MSRP for my 2816
@@NinjagoGuy416 Did you order yours through TrainWorld or Rapido’s website?

Ive noticed on yours and others the fireman’s side ditch light is bent “up” . Assuming due to packaging.
