I’m actually planning on making the entire Final Spike Tour consist at some point but for now I’m just sticking to the simple 6 car consist from when 2816 starred in the IMax movie “Rocky Mountain Express.” What paint did you use for this car? That Maroon looks sharp and doesn’t at all look like it’s over applied. Really wish someone made decal sheets for Canadian Pacific passenger equipment

Since the model is out. I wonder if any one with do a double header with 2816 with royal Hudson 2860. Seeing both of the of these engine when I watching RUclips videos of these engine running. How come now on thought of have these two engines( when 1860 was still in operation) had a doubleheader in real life .Or they’ve done one already in the past. Still bugs me that question,

Both the model and the real thing are visually stunning. And the 2816 paint scheme is GORGEOUS. I have the 2816 in HO scale brass from Van Hobbies, but, it's unpainted. I am looking for a reputable, professional model painter to paint my 2816 steam Locomotive. Even though it's unpainted, it's still pleasing to the eyes. ☝️ 👀

Holy smokes, 2816 has some presence. That is one of the most visually stunning steam locomotives I have seen in HO scale. Looking forward to seeing her run!

I love how this is thoroughly respectful to both sides of the pond and appeals to both US and UK railfans equally. Now all we need is to get those continental boys involved, where are the french, the germans, the austrians?

Kudos to Jimmy - what a great video. And the Northern Virginia Model Railroaders' club layout in Vienna, VA looks great! For us "Pennsy" fans and HO modelers, kudos also to the Pennsylvania Railroad Technical and Historical Society's modeling committee. They have been instrumental in manufacturers delivering accurate models of DCC and sound equipped PRR steam locomotives in recent years. It makes it much easier to model the steam and transition eras of the PRR. Four more classes of PRR steam not in the video have been recently introduced - L1s Mikados, I1s Decapods, J1 Texans, and the massive Q2. Great time to be a Pennsy steam modeler in HO.

6:10 A missed opportunity to have 5600 "notice" there was a track connection between the freight railroad and the streetcar line. A scheme would then be hatched which ends up with "Spot" finding himself in the steam service area.

5600 seems to have found the American Coal Feilds of Appalachia.
